This trip is simply stunning. Went late September and it was hot. If you go July or August it will be very hot. The guide said from 115-120 degrees. Try the pig cheeks on your lunch break as they’re special. Overall outstanding trip.
We absolutely loved Rafael. He made the trip to Evora so enjoyable for us and kept things on time so we could be back for our train leaving for Lagos that evening. As a matter of fact, he also dropped us at the station due to the scheduling conflict with us having booked the Evora tour the day before, but it had been canceled, and we were not notified. So basically, we switched tours from the original order … Obidos the first day with Gue (who was also fantastic), and Evora the next (instead of the original order and plan). It all worked out great, and we were so grateful for Rafael taking us to the train or we never would have been able to do Evora, the wine tastings, etc. All was so beautiful. And Rafael is so knowledgeable. The perfect day!
