We booked a private full day tour with Jaoa and couldn't have had a better day! His knowledge and passion for the places we saw was incredible. We learned so much and thoroughly enjoyed our day with him. Would highly recommend him and will definitely book again.

Private tour from Lisbon to Sintra and surrounding areas
We had a fabulous time touring Sintra and surrounding areas with Joao in April!
Joao was very well informed, made things interesting and fun, and never rushed us throughout the tour. Instead, he went above and beyond with his time with us.

Traveling with friends.

Like Touring Lisbon with a Family Friend
We just returned from an incredible trip to Lisbon, and without a doubt, the highlight of our experience was our tour with João from Lisbon Gems Tours.
From the moment we met him, it didn’t feel like we were with a typical tour guide—it felt like we were being shown around the city by an old family friend. João has that rare ability to instantly make you feel comfortable, welcomed, and genuinely excited about everything you’re seeing.
His knowledge of Lisbon and Portugal is absolutely outstanding. If not this is not a tour.
An unbeatable experience we can not be happier with the chosen choice the guide turned with us and introduced us to history would repeat without hesitation.
