Amazing find. We were looking for a fun family activity and this was a lot better than what we were expecting.

It was my first kintsugi experience, and I enjoyed it while chatting. It's very easy to understand and seems like anyone can do it, so I recommend it. And it was cheap!

The price was cheap, and it was my first kintsugi experience, but the staff were very kind, and it was fun and really great!!

Unfortunately, the address provided first led us to a temple. That was probably our mistake, though. Therefore, we arrived 10 min late. Ayako (our workshop instructor) had contacted us via WhatsApp. The short delay was not a problem, however. The Kintsugi workshop was a lot of fun. Ayako told us a bit about the origins of Kintsugi, took great photos of us at work, and also gave us restaurant recommendations in Kyoto. The workshop cost 8 € pp. If you wanted larger ceramics, you had to pay an additional 1000 to 3000 ¥. The plates in the pictures have a diameter of approx. 10 cm and cost 1000 ¥ each. We had a good time.

Besides walking through the beautiful places, doing this kind of repair, it was an experience that made me feel the culture and have direct contact with something very symbolic, it was very good.

Had a lovely time getting to learn more about Japanese culture and the staff are all very sweet and helpful.

I really enjoyed this experience! It was fun, relaxing, and a great way to learn about kintsugi. The staff were really nice too. Highly recommend!
