祇園金修理アートの京都伝統金継ぎワークショップ
説明
京都・祇園や河原町に近い静かな工房で、日本語の伝統芸能「金継ぎ」を体験。 割れたり欠けたりした陶片を漆や金粉を使って修復し、割れた陶器を美しくユニークなものに変える体験です。 経験豊富な講師の指導のもと、金継ぎの基本技術を学びながら、器や皿を丁寧に作業します。 この伝統的な方法では、不完全さを隠すのではなく、オブジェクトの歴史や特性の一部としてそれを祝福します。 ワークショップでは、金継ぎの歴史や不完全さやマインドフルネスを大切にする日本語の哲学についても学びます。 完成した作品は、唯一無二のお土産となり、京都で過ごした時間を思い出させる意味深いものとなり、落ち着いた本格的な日本語文化の紹介となります。

This is a great hands-on way to experience the history and culture of Japan. Cody is a wonderful art guide. Definitely worth the money and easy to fit into a busy day!
Cody did a wonderful job teaching us this art form. He was very interactive, and was a great guide to making sure the piece turned out amazing.
Place was overcrowded and chaotic. There was a lot of groups in the same time and the place was very loud. At the begging we have nice girl who helped us. But in the middle she changed with an another one and at the end another man. Workshop is nice but atmosphere and rush wasn’t pleasant.
I’ve had a lot of fun. Suits both children, teenagers and adults. The staff is very helpful and friendly.
We booked this experience for our girls. It was absolutely delightful. Windy was an amazing guide and the whole process was beautiful for the girls to do. Perfect also for rainy days.
Everyone was very accommodating and helpful. I had such an enjoyable experience and would definitely come back again!

Excellent fun. Premium bowls were a little pricey but not horrible. Spend time filing to get deeper groves, creates bolder lines. Quite a nice experience!!
