I really loved the session, Noli was such an amazing sensei. She explained a lot about the history of kanji and calligraphy, how it changed over time etc. She was patient with me and allowed me to practice as much as I wanted. It was personalised to my name and whichever other Kanji I wanted to write. I will come back next year! Thank you so much!!

Fabulous calligraphy workshop. Our teacher Yumi was so kind and knowledgeable. We practised writing Kanji then our names. Really easy to find, a stones throw from Shinjuku station. I would highly recommend company. They do other things too such as chopstick making.
had so much fun Noriko was excellent, super friendly (and speaks very good english) and explained everything really well. Lots of fun and great souvenirs to take home, even the practice pieces were packaged for us to take home - you can see my dog which didn’t make it onto the scroll

En and Norisan se were excellent instructors and very encouraging. We had a lot of fun practicing calligraphy and learning about Japanese letter evolvement, highly recommended.
