原宿の門をくぐり、平穏な森の中を本殿に向かって広い道を歩く。 途中、大鳥居をくぐり、酒樽展示を見たり、浄水場を見学したり、都心の自然の静けさを体験します。
参道には、はるばる台湾から運ばれてきた古代ヒノキで作られた日本最大級の木造鳥居をくぐります。 その大きさと歴史、静粛性の高さが強烈な印象を残す。
本殿では、祈祷（きとう）やユニークなおみくじを引いたり、絵馬に願い事を書いたり、さまざまなお守りを探ったりできる。 この神聖な空間に特別なエネルギーを感じるという来場者も多い。
参拝の最後には、神社境内近くにカフェとギフトショップがあります。 チャームや伝統品、明治神宮限定のアイテムなどを取り揃えている。 カフェでは、静かな森の中で軽食やドリンクを提供しています。

Lovely tour, thank you Kodai, I had a lovely time
I highly recommend this tour and this tour company. My tour guide, Tomo, was absolutely amazing from start to finish. I greatly appreciated how friendly, knowledgeable, patient, and kind he was throughout the tour. I learned so much during this tour. Tomo graciously and very skillfully enthusiastically answered all my questions. The pace was excellent. I enjoyed the participatory aspect of the tour, when Tomo asked engaging and thought-provoking questions. This was my first tour with this tour company and because of my experience, I’m certainly going to do more! In fact, I just did a second tour with this same tour company and it was excellent as well. And I’m now signed up for another one tomorrow. Thank you Tomo for going over and above! :-)))

Kodai was a great guide and very informative about Japanese history and the Meiji Shrine. It was super helpful to have a guide to help us learn the traditional customs for how to properly visit a shrine and make sure as foreigners we were respectful of the customs.
