Meiji Jingu Shrine
明治天皇と昭憲皇太后を祀り、日本の近代化に愛された東京を代表する神社、明治神宮。 そびえ立つ鳥居をくぐり、全国から寄贈された10万本の木々が林立する道を歩く。 本殿では、伝統行事の見学や祈祷、木製の絵馬に願い事を書く。 神道の精神を垣間見るだけでなく、世界でも有数の賑わいを見せる街の中心部で安らぎのひとときを過ごすことができる。
この鳥居は高さ12メートル、幅17.1メートルの木造明神鳥居としては日本最大級である。 門の大きさは圧巻で、神社の神聖さを物語っている。
明治神宮 Meiji Shrine
明治神宮は、明治天皇と昭憲皇后の御霊を祀る、東京を代表する神社です。 1920年創業、賑やかな渋谷エリアにある70ヘクタールの広大な人工林の中にあり、都心ののどかな昔ながらの逃避行空間を提供している。

Must do tour

Fun and insightful with minori
I had such a wonderful experience with Minori! She was incredibly insightful, thoughtful, and knowledgeable throughout the tour. She shared so many interesting stories and details that made the experience feel much more meaningful and personal. Minori was also very attentive to our needs and made sure we were comfortable and enjoying every moment. Her warm personality and passion for sharing her knowledge really made the tour special. Thank you, Minori, for such a memorable and thoughtful experience. I would definitely recommend her to anyone visiting Japan!

Meiji-shrine tour
Our guide Kei was really knowledgeable. He answered all our questions and walked us through proper shrine etiquette. He even handed out yen coins to tour participants who didn't have any so they could say prayers and have their "fortune" read. I booked last minute this morning and got a great rate through get your guide. Kei even gave out great recommendations for places to eat and things to do in different parts of the city.
