It was a horrible experience. The driver spoke very poor English and I had a hard time understanding anything he said. We were late leaving . The bus was very uncomfortable, seats are meant for teenagers perhaps but we felt very crammed in, no leg room .The worst was the communication though. I hardly understood anything of the narration and I had to make my sentence structure simple for him to answer any questions I had. The website should inform that this is a good trip to take if you speak Chinese but for English speakers it’s bad. We decided to make our own way back from Lake Louise with the public transit in order to avoid having to endure this a few more hours. I called the company to inform them of this. We were offered a partial refund for the tour .
Hi Ingrid, thank you for the feedback. A partial refund was provided for you. Please know that this is a shared shuttle service and expect a full pack van on a busy season. Traffic and weather conditions affect our timing sometimes but we always do our best to follow our schedule. Our driver was not supposed to narrate anything but he definitely practice the language so he can somehow guide all the guests even if it is supposed to be just a shuttle service. We highly recommend booking a private tour next time for your expectations especially if you can afford it. The rest of the other passengers were very happy especially seeing Emerald Lake as an alternative when they closed the road to Moraine Lake due to an accident because of the weather condition. Nonetheless, thank you for considering our services.
Abdul was a fantastic driver, very friendly and helpful with information about the trip and areas we were visiting including how to get the best vantage point. He was safe and steady as a driver. The trip was terrific and we would recommend the door to door service rather than fighting the Roam bus system. This took all the stress out of being a tourist.
