It was nice experience to be picked up at our hotel and not have to find parking and transfer shuttles. The day went easy and there was such amazing scenery! Kayla our guide gave us good information about the area and tips of where to go in the area! I always like Viator tours it just makes life easier and you always meet interesting travelers and learn new things!

The tour was fantastic. Francis is a wonderful person, he was very punctual with the time, and also very punctual in answering all our questions. We appreciated that, in addition to being our driver, he also wanted to add his personal stories and interactions with the local flora. He involved us a lot and you can see that he loves his job. Exceptional tour, breathtaking views. Highly recommended!

As with any major attraction, there’s busy times and not so busy times. These two lakes seem to always be busy! The sunrise tour seems to be the least busy though;) The pickup in Canmore was seamless! I was the 1st to board the luxury style bus/van. You’ll be in this van with the same people for the trips entirety. Bring layers and then leave them in the bus/van! When I say it’s cold, it is COLD but warms up fast. I was in my winter coat all bundled up at the start ands in my short sleeve top on the ride home. It helped being able to leave stuff behind in the shuttle. Our driver Jeremy was great at setting expectations, explaining the lay of the land and getting everyone set up with drinks for the sunrise. He also handed out to every single person: loose fitting backpack, a blanket, headband head lamp and our reusable Stanley-like cups for coffee/tea/hot chocolate. Such a nice touch to be holding something warm! He collected these after the 1st stop as well. The times at each of the stops could have been longer but you’ll have plenty of time to explore. It’s a national park so the bathrooms are outhouses. Yes, you pee in a hole in the ground. There was never a shortage of toilet paper or hand sanitizer. There is always a line but it moves fast. There’s also no mirrors. This was the tour I was most looking forward to and it exceeded my expectations! Walk to “the end” at Lake Louise-you’ll have to walk over some shoddy rocks and clay-like sandy mud but that view will be SO worth it!

It was such an incredible experience. Our guide really set us up in a perfect spot to see the sunrise. It was a less crowded area than I was anticipating. Pam was awesome!!

This tour runs like absolute clockwork! A very early start is made so much less stressful by everything running perfectly and the tour guide being so wonderfully friendly and knowledgeable. And that's not even to mention how beautiful the lakes are. There's not really enough words to begin to cover those- you really have to see them for yourself and this is a great way to do it. I personally found the rock pile home quite tough due to the incline, but it made the view all the more rewarding at the end when I managed it! The headlamps and seat pads made it feel more safe and comfortable too. Would absolutely recommend this tour and would definitely do it again!

As a seasoned traveller, this was one of the most incredible tours I have taken. The tour company excelled in delivering a bespoke experience that exceeded expectations! The weather at Moraine Lake was not ideal, but Francis made the tour absolutely incredible. He was prompt, courteous, and had an infectiously positive attitude. His knowledge base across vast topics relating to Banff National Park history and wildlife was absolutely impressive! As an outdoor enthusiast and adventurer, he was able to provide perspectives from actual experiences! Francis was perceptive of everyone’s needs; passionate about his job and the outdoors; and a remarkable host.
