Good experience for first timers to PhiPhi islands
Experience was as advertised, experience the wonders of PhiPhi Island.
Pros:
- engaging tour guide
- tons of water
- snorkeling guide to ensure safety of all guests in water, special attention given to children which was nice
- Light breakfast, lunch (which was so-so) and fruit/snack (at the last island stop) available
Things to note:
- additional charge for the lagoon longtail boat at THB1400. Photographer will be onboard and will rove around all longtail boats to snap photos. Photos are not professional standard but might be useful if you're still training your photography eye. Digital copies and a magnet frame with photo available for purchase at THB1000
- extra charges (THB350) for beach shoes to double up as some sort of fins, for those who would like to go under water to protect their feet from sea urchins and corals. This said, fins are not part of the package. Only snorkeling masks and life vests
- beginners' scuba diving crash course available even for 6YO and older during this one day tour (but I didn't take it up)
- large portion spent on travelling and exploring islands from the boat, and a good amount of pre-departure briefing and sales talk

Wonderful views
Beautiful views and experience in general, but even when you already paid your excursion, in the port they charge you another 400 THB and later they sell you a water shoes! Another 350 , and in reality you don’t need them, they push you to buy them,

National Park Fee (400 THB): This is a mandatory fee collected directly by the local park authorities for government entry permits, not a charge from our company. We always aim to keep our guests informed by clearly stating this fee on our booking page as well as in the confirmation email sent prior to the trip.
Water Shoes: The vendors at the pier are independent sellers and are not affiliated with our team. While they actively promote their items, purchasing water shoes is completely optional, and you are never required to buy them for the tour.

Must do!
Yo-yo was amazing! Although the ride there was pretty bumpy, the experience itself was incredible. We were taken care of, the staff were incredibly kind and patient and we had unlimited Pepsi/water. Their knowledge is profound and I would 100% reccomend booking here!!

Badly described trip timeframe
Despite some excellent trips with Viator, this one wasn't.
I cannot comment on the tour itself - because we had to abandon before boarding the speedboat.
It was sold as a "7-hour trip" but when we reached the pier, we were told it would be 8.5-9 hours!
Unfortunately, this wouldn't have allowed us sufficient time to get back for our cruise ship departure.
A HUGE disappointment, as this was due to be a highlight of our holiday.
We'd taken every precaution to ensure timings would work, including an excellent taxi driver to get us to the pier and back. We are hugely grateful to him, for noticing and advising us of the potential risk.
Albeit Viator were honourable enough to refund our fee in full (albeit inside their 24 hour stipulation) following our complaint - we incurred a $150 taxi bill and will be always disappointed in missing the trip 😢
VIATOR..... please, please, be more acurate with your advice on timings 🙏🏻 We book these trips a long way in advance, often alongside other criteria, thus relying totally on the description of the trip.

Do NOT Book This Tour
The Viator posting for this trip is misleading. It says to be at the dock at 9am and the excursion is 6.5 hours. We booked this tour based on this information as it would give us adequate time to return to our cruise ship which was 1 hour drive on the other side of the island. We arrived via cab at 8:50am to check-in. We were told we would be on the 10am ship and it would be back at 6:00pm. Do the math! That is not 6.5 hours. Our cruise ship sailed at 6:15pm. We could not go on the excursion and make it back in time. We were told we would not be getting a refund. The staff were very rude and dismissive. We are very disappointed.

Because this information is clearly listed, we cannot offer refunds for last-minute cancellations due to personal scheduling conflicts. Regarding the staff, we maintain a professional standard and simply reiterated the policy you agreed to at the time of booking.

Phi Phi Speed Boat
These poor islands are so over trodden by humanity that it's a crime I am so sorry I partook.

Disappointed in Phuket
This was a disaster!! There was no communication with the tour guide! I reached out numerous times to Make sure there would be someone to meet us at the pier. Then the very last day mind you after they charged my credit card and I could not get my money back they reached out to me and advised they would meet us at the port but at a time when the cruise ship hadn’t even arrived yet. I immediately reached out to Viator customer service and they said we will reach out to the tour guide and ask for a refund! They got back to me shortly after and said “Sorry they said no refund” !
Very very disappointed in Viator and the tour company that represented them!

Good trip
The trip was good but remember your travel sickness pills as the sea was really rough,the crew were very friendly and knowledgeable about the islands we went to,the scenery was beautiful
