We were so fortunate to have Yuki as our guide around Kyoto. She met us at Osaka cruise terminal and we drove to Kyoto. Yuki explained how the day was going to go and where we would have shopping time, lunch etc. Everything went really smoothly, restaurant for lunch was excellent and Yuki was on hand to help with the order etc. The weather was extremely wet but we all still had a great day and saw everything that was on the itinerary. Thank you Yuki for making the tour such fun

Best tour we have done in zjapan. Our guide/driver was amazing. Went out his way to please us. Took us to a non-touristy restaurant for lunch. Great. Would recommend Yuhai and his company to anybody. Five star.

What an incredible day in Kyoto with our custom tour. We paid the same as what we would have paid on the discounted excursion through our tour, yet we had a custom, private tour in a luxury van instead of a giant tour bus. Our guide, Caroline was incredible. She has a background in architecture and shared endless knowledge about the shrines and how they're built and how the rooms are used. She was knowledgeable, friendly and funny. She selected the best sites for us within our time frame to ensure we were back to our cruise ship on time. We saw charming town of Arashiyama, the Bamboo Forest, Golden Pavillion, Kiyomizu-dera temple, the shops and laneways in old town area and the Tori gates at Fushimi Inari Shrine - all in 8 hours! This was also shorter than what the cruise could provide so we were back on board by happy hour! Caroline knew all the places to snap the ideal pictures, which is priceless given how crowded these sites can be. The service was amazing as she would have the car waiting for us as soon as we finished which was very nice given it was raining on our day and nice to get out of the rain quickly. The van was super comfortable with reclining seats and foot rests! We could not have seen all we wanted to see on our our, nor would we have learned so much about the history of these temples. A magical way to make the most of our limited time in Kyoto. I cannot recommend this company enough. Excellent service! Thank you Caroline.

Absolutely fantastic day with our guide Taikai who not only fulfilled our expectations by visiting the must-see sights, navigating the crowds, taking memorable pictures, and sharing local insight, but also got to know us as people and took us to additional locations tailored to our interests. Atsushi was brilliant, collected us at our hotel and transported us in his car around all the main sites you want to see in Kyoto! His local knowledge was great, and he arranged it to avoid the busiest times at each, plus avoided the worst of the heat!

We are traveling with our grandsons who are 18. They like unstructured travel and were reluctant to spent a day with a guide. After the day with our guide Somei, they raved about how much they enjoyed the day and learning about the history of Kyoto. The boys said they learned about so much more than the facts and figures of the history.

They picked us up at our hotel in Osaka and while driving to our first destination they explained what to expect during our day in Kyoto, complete with pictures. They were very organized and we spent the perfect amount of time at each of the sites described in the overview of the day. They are a fun and friendly couple and that made our day all the more enjoyable. They fully explained what we were seeing at each site, along with its history.
