We apologise for the technical shortcomings on our side that meant you were notified of the Silver Week schedule change too late. Because of the public holiday, we started the tour an hour earlier to do our best to avoid the heavy traffic and other holiday related disruptions, but we understand that receiving this news the evening before didn’t give you a fair chance to plan around it. We moved the departure earlier to help you get ahead of the crowds and shared the new time with you in advance. Mount Fuji is famously shy. Cloud cover keeps it hidden on many days of the year, and it can vanish even when the sky elsewhere looks clear. Because the weather around the mountain can turn within hours, we always give our guests the chance to catch it, but unfortunately the clouds didn't lift that day. Our guides are handpicked local experts who know the Fuji area inside out and love sharing its stories, and we've passed your comments on to the team so every stop delivers that insight. Knowing the region so well, they're also happy to point guests toward local places to eat along the way.
