一日の始まりは、レイキャビクのホテルや宿泊施設からの快適なピックアップです。 ガイドがアイスランドの自然や文化についての物語を伝えながら、アイスランドの風光明媚な南海岸を進み、火山の風景、開けた農地、遠くの山々の景色を眺めながら、清潔な専用車両でリラックスしてください。
最初の主要な目的地は、アイスランドで最も有名な滝の1つであるセリャランズフォスです。 ここでは、かつて島の古代の海岸線によって形成された高い崖から優雅な水の流れが落ちる。 条件が良ければ、滝の裏側を歩いてユニークな遠近感を味わいながら、爽やかな霧を感じながら、壮大なフォトチャンスを楽しむこともできます。
歩いてすぐのところには、隠れた宝石、グリューフラブイがあります。 狭い峡谷の陰に部分的に隠れているこの魅惑的な滝は、秘密の発見のようです。 小さな峡谷を注意深く進み、崖の壁の内側で水がドラマチックに流れ落ちるのを眺めましょう。
次は、氷河水が広い崖から60メートル近くも落ちる迫力あるスコゥガフォスの滝を訪れます。 滝の轟音と立ち昇る霧が幻想的な雰囲気を醸し出し、晴れた日には滝の流れる水の前に鮮やかな虹が現れることもしばしば。
より大きなミールダルスヨークトル氷冠から伸びる印象的な出口氷河、ソルヘイマヨークトル氷河へと続きます。 氷河の展望台に向かって歩くと、青い氷、灰の層、険しい氷の層が印象的なコントラストを見せ、アイスランドのドラマチックな氷河の風景を見ることができます。
旅はディルホゥラエイのドラマチックな崖へと続きます。 この高台からの眺めは、南海岸、黒砂のビーチ、海岸線にぶつかり合う力強い大西洋を一望できます。 また、海に伸びる巨大な岩のアーチがあることでも有名である。
次に、世界的に有名なレイニスフィヤラの黒砂のビーチに立ち寄ります。 パーキングエリアの視点からは、暗い火山砂、そびえ立つ玄武岩の柱、力強い大西洋の波のコントラストを眺めることができます。 沖合では、神秘的なレイニスドランガル海峡が海から劇的に隆起し、アイスランドを代表する海岸の風景を作り出しています。
南海岸の最終目的地は、魅力的なヴィーク村です。 ドラマチックな断崖と黒砂のビーチに囲まれたこの小さな海岸沿いの町では、景色を楽しんだり、写真を撮ったり、帰りの旅を始める前にちょっとした気分転換をすることができます。
