Just to give some context to other travelers, we opted into everything: Dambulla Cave Temple, Sigiriya, the herbal and spice garden, the village tour and lunch, and the jeep tour/elephant safari. It was a long day, like nearly 17 hours, and we ended up hitting everything but the herbal and spice garden. Our driver was very kind and considerate and made sure to stop so we could get a simple but nice breakfast in along the way, and he expertly navigated between locations. To be clear, you are hiring a driver, not a tour guide, unless you opt into the extras. I did appreciate the company was very communicative ahead of the tour and laid out all of the tour options, and for payment, the company was incredibly helpful and generated a link to allow us to pay with credit card versus at cash at each location. This was so appreciated! The process was easy, with the only hiccup being that despite receiving my payment, they were insistent and a bit pushy in requiring I also send a screenshot acknowledging payment. With international data and trying to connect to wifi, my data was sluggish, and I had to keep insisting they be patient, which was frustrating. The village tour felt very touristy, but the lunch in the village was very good! I wasn’t initially excited for the elephant safari, but you can’t miss the Minneriya National Park! There were so many elephants, and it was an amazing experience to see them up close in nature. I do feel we lingered there a bit longer than necessary, especially with such a long day, but it was an incredible experience I’d recommend.

Better to avoid, for the reason, that its difficult to do both Sigiria and cave temple in one day, as both are about climbing steps. The tour needs to be designed better. Also the travel time is 8 hours (round trip) which makes this trip not the worth.

I thought it was a one-on-one ride, but the driver responded. Partly because of that, it was good that they narrowed it down to just the places we wanted to go and we were able to leave early. However, it may feel uncomfortable for some people because they often take out their national character or speed in the city and go out to the opposite lane. lol I enjoyed it as one of the attractions. In fact, I witnessed the accident in front of my eyes twice, so it may be normal in Sri Lanka.

I had such a wonderful day on this tour to Sigiriya. My driver Newan was absolutely great. He arrived on time, early 5am start, had water for me and Eben stopped for me to have breakfast at a great coffee shop on our journey. He was extremely engaging on our full day together, he played great music to listen to on our long drive. Newan arranged a guide for me up the daunting climb, a must to get the best out of this experience. Definitely recommend this service and Newan!!

I asked for it here because it was cheap, lean and word of mouth was good. I tried to climb Pidungala Rock but gave up because I was too tired. Mr. Newan was kind, too.

Experience is great. Travel agent are very accommodating. Our driver Mr. Newan is nice and friendly. We really enjoy the whole trip😊 definitely we will comeback again to Sri Lanka

It is very Wörth for vist. Cannot wait to vist the another time. The Tour is perfect And unforgottable momeries I will visit again

It takes a little effort to climb the Tiger Rock, but it is definitely worth it. The view down into the valley is beautiful. Also the cave temples with the Buddhist statues in Dambulla are very worth seeing.
