A great way to see the city and get ideas for things to see in greater depth. The tour guides were excellent. Very entertaining

Finding the bus was not easy but once we found it we really enjoyed the tour. Great way to get a feel for the city and our tour guide Makeda was excellent, she was very knowledgeable and she made the tour interesting and fun.

When booking online you need to obtain your ticket at the starting point for trip. Bus stop 1 on route. The expected sign City Sightseeing Tour was not visible, instead it was something like tourist info. I completely bypassed it only to walk around what is at the moment a construction site (half of the section was blocked) to go there for info and see that is where I should have started. The staff member was excellent, friendly in a professional manner. Team on board explaining sights as we went around the city was great. Being able to manage travellers who hadn’t pre-booked making sure everyone was attended to and giving advice if you wanted info at times along the route.

This is a great way to check out downtown Toronto. It took about 2 hrs to ride the full route. Once we learned where everything was then we could easily go visit areas we were interested in later. The boat ride is a great way to see the entire downtown skyline.

The tour didn't impart much history of Toronto. Unfortunately it was very windy and all the narration was done through earplugs, tough to hear. The descriptions of each stop were not very informative. However we did the harbor tour along with our hop on bus tour and thoroughly enjoyed the boat trip, well worth the additional cost. Buy your boat cruise ticket while on the bus for a 50% savings over single ticket price at the harbor.

Tour guide Marilyn and driver Anwar were great. They were very friendly and helpful. Marilyn struck the right balance between being entertaining and being informative. My son and I stayed inside the bus so I can't comment on how the open-air experience was. We got off for the scenic harbour cruise and that was very good. We enjoyed both the bus and boat tours and think they provide a good introduction to Toronto. We probably wouldn't do it again on a future trip, but for a first-timer, we highly recommend the combo.
