A short one hour trip to the island in Reykjavik harbor where thousands? Hundreds? of puffins nest during mating season. Puffins everywhere! Our guide Eloise was knowledgeable and very funny. Great trip!

Great info. See an incredible number of puffins. They provide binoculars so you don't need to bring any.

This is a must do trip to see the Puffins . Crew and guide were top notch and very knowledgeable. Thoroughly enjoyed it .

We booked this boat because it had a covered heated inside with window seating as well as outside seating. Perfect to stay warm to go see the puffins wearing our normal layered weather-appropriate clothing. Our guide and boat captain were friendly and knowledgeable. We got up close to the island, saw the adorable puffins, ducks, turtles, many other sea birds and an even a couple of seals. Some adults and kids volunteered to take turns driving the boat back to the marina. Thank you for making parking and this outing easy, fun and memorable!

Wonderful experience. We took a lovely boat ride and our tour guide Blanca was very engaging and knowledgeable. Answer our son’s many questions and let him share his thoughts too. Both she and the captain of the ship provided great expertise and nice experience.

Excellent experience. Even saw a seal in the water bobbing up and down. Tour guide was excellent explaining the birds in detail. Came up very close to the islans the puffins were on.

We had a fantastic puffin tour with Blanca and Patrick! Blanca was an energetic and knowledgeable guide who shared lots of interesting facts about the puffins. Patrick did a great job navigating some slightly choppy waters and even a quick downpour, making us feel safe and comfortable the entire time. The puffins were so cute! We were able to get surprisingly close to them without disturbing their breeding grounds or going onto the island, which made for an amazing viewing experience. Everything was well organized, from check-in to the explanations during the tour, and the one-hour length was perfect for fitting into a busy Iceland itinerary. I’d especially recommend this tour if you’re short on time or, like us, weren’t able to see puffins at Dyrhólaey because the viewing area had already closed. Definitely one of the highlights of our trip!
