We met on the footpath outside the Get Your Guide office, we wete sorted into groups with a guide. Our guide Aurelia was passionate about her country's history and was very informative. She managed to keep our group together amongst hundreds of visitors that day. Thoroughly enjoyable and breathtakingly beautiful. Highly recommended.

Ty was a wonderful tour guide, giving helpful history lessons and interesting little known details we would never have seen on our own. The tour was well-paced and informative. We enjoyed it!

Mauro was THE BEST tour guide of our entire trip to Paris. Versailles was amazing, but having the opportunity to learn and appreciate was priceless. Mauro also was very professional in advocating for our group as other tour guides seemed to monopolize the entry lines.

Highly recommend the half day tour. It provided great information as there is not a lot of documentation at the palace if you go through yourself. Never felt rushed, but also didn't drag on. Beautiful sight to see!

The palace of Versailles is a must see monument and home to some of the most famous rooms in the world. The palace is immense and you can choose between half day and full day visits. Taking in the gardens a half day was ideal allowing an hour for the King and Queens rooms and the hall of mirrors and a couple of hours for the gardens. Inevitably the palace felt crowded and the guide did rush us along. For such an amazing set of buildings that are such an important part of French history we did expect a more informative guide. Ours gave us some insight into the title-tattle of the French court across a century and a half but very a little about the artists and architects who built this amazing place. This was a shame, particularly since one would imagine that the hall of mirrors would have been a marvel of the eighteenth century. We did come away with a photo album that will live on with us and the gardens are to this day living and vibrant spaces on an immense scale.

It was so easy to get the bus in a central location. We had a guide on the bus who turned us over to our guide for the palace tour. We got in easily and received great historical information as we went through many rooms and gardens.
