We have checked the GPS records for your departure, and the excursion took over 4 hours in total, including the transfers — not 3 hours as stated. The Caves of Drach visit is not a guided walking tour with a guide accompanying you throughout the caves; guests follow the established cave route with the information provided. The classical concert and short boat crossing are also part of the experience. Regarding the pearl shop, this is a scheduled stop included in this particular product, with free time for guests who wish to browse. We understand that you would have preferred a shorter stop. Unsere Abholung in Cala Dor / Calas de Mallorca erfolgt zwischen 08:45 und 09:00 Uhr, und wir erreichen die Coves del Drach rechtzeitig zur 10:00 Uhr Besichtigung. Das ist eine direkte und effiziente Organisation — keineswegs „dreimal länger“ als privat. Ein Taxi kostet in der Regel nahezu den gleichen Preis wie die gesamte Tour, allerdings ohne Eintrittskarten. Und genau hier liegt ein wichtiger Punkt: Gerade ab Mai sind die Höhlen oft ausverkauft. Wenn man privat ankommt, bekommt man häufig nur Tickets für spätere Zeiten (11:00 oder 12:00 Uhr), was am Ende mehr Wartezeit und Aufwand bedeutet. Ihre Aussage, dass Sie „zu Fuß zurückgegangen“ sind, ist zudem schwer nachvollziehbar, da die Entfernungen dafür schlicht nicht realistisch sind. Ce forfait inclut bus, guide pendant le trajet et entrée coupe-file aux grottes. Si vous avez une voiture et n’utilisez ni le bus ni le guide, il est plus logique et économique d’acheter seulement le billet direct. Payer presque le triple pour ensuite y aller par soi-même et se plaindre n’a aucun sens. 🐉🎶

This tour is clearly described as a package that includes: Round-trip transport from your resort A guide on the bus to provide helpful information and context Prepaid entrance ticket to the Caves of Drach (with no queue at the ticket office) Entry at one of the best time slots (10 or 11 a.m.) The classical music concert inside the cave The boat ride on Lake Martel The €18 entrance fee is only the ticket to the cave — it does not include transport, guidance, or organization. Since you did not have a car, you would not have been able to access the caves directly this easily. The additional cost covers all logistics and service, ensuring a smooth and comfortable experience. We hope this helps clarify the value of the excursion.
