The €2 fee mentioned is not a mandatory translation fee. It refers to the possibility of crossing the Grand Canal by gondola as a ferry. This is an optional service and is only used if the entire group agrees to it. If the group does not unanimously agree, the gondola crossing is not taken and no €2 fee is charged. We would also like to clarify that all participants were provided with audio devices. There were enough devices for the entire group, and no participant was left without one. We would like to clarify that our walking tours follow a precise schedule and must maintain a set pace, particularly when other participants are present. On the day of your booking, the tour included several other guests who had arrived on time, and therefore it was not possible to delay the start without impacting the entire group experience. Additionally, once the guide begins the tour and is engaged in explaining to the group, it is not feasible for them to monitor phone communications, as their full attention must be dedicated to delivering the service. As a gesture of goodwill and understanding, we offered you the possibility to reschedule the tour for another date or to join any of our other tours; however, this option was declined. We always strive to accommodate our guests within the limits of our operational responsibilities, and we regret that, in this case, we were unable to meet your expectations.
