I wish when I book thru Viator they would say what tour we are actually taking: for example: Irish day tours, red rover, paddy wagon. Other people know and we do not. It makes a difference
Many sites of historical significance. We had a good guide, however, bus had air conditioning failure on Ireland’s hottest days. Time was short at Rock of Cashel and Cahil Castle, adequate for Blarney. At Blarney Castle, be aware of long lines to kiss the Stone which may take too much time for your stop
The castles and the tour guide, Jonathan, were great. It’s a long day but interesting sites. I wish we had more time at Blarney. But only 3 stars because the AC went out in the bus and it was a LONG day of a hot bus ride. I can’t believe the tour company didn’t send a replacement bus to meet us at one of the stops.
The tour started 1 hour later than website indicated. The bus air was out, it was the hottest day in Ireland, I think broke records, so the bus was steamy and miserable. The points of interest were great but felt rushed. We were given 1/2 hour at first castle and that was not enough. At Blarney Stone, if u want to go in the castle and kiss the stone that is about all the time you will have, we didn’t have time to tour anything else. The guide was good, the fact that the bus was so hot made the experience miserable. The company did make an extra stop so we could get drinks. Really the bus company should have offered waters for free to make up for major inconvenience.
Brilliant day! So well organized and amazing to see three castles in one day! Really made our vacation! Our driver was brilliant!
It was a good trip. A long day, but good. Bathrooms at every stop. Our driver/tour guide Derrick was a hoot. We even did a sing along to several Irish songs.
This is an amazing tour overall but need more time at each castle. Even though says approximately 13 hours it was only 11 and a half.
Jonathan was funny and super friendly. It was a great experience and the weather was perfect. Lucky us!

Really enjoyed the tour. Jonathan was a good tour guide/driver. I do wish we had more time at Blarney- seeing the Blarney Stone plus lunch didn’t give much time to see the beautiful grounds. The tour guide at Cahair Castle was great- funny and knowledgeable. Overall I would recommend this tour. Make sure to bring your poncho/umbrella and wear comfortable shoes.

The bus was so small and uncomfortable as to have diminished my experience.
