It was amazing to see the sights but the bus was soooo hot and stuffy with no air conditioning....it was nauseating to be on a bus for that many hours so miserably stuffy and hot
This was my favorite thing we did on our 9 days in Ireland. The Blarney Castle felt like it was going to be just a tourist trap, but the actual castle itself was interesting and the trip to the top is not for sissies! The Rock of Cashil and the Cahir Castle were also wonderful historical and largely untouched historical edifices.
Our guide Patty was excellent- driver and tour guide. I would definitely recommend this tour, you get to see alot. We especially enjoyed Blarney and the tour of Cahir castle by an OPW member.
Phillip was the best tour guide ever. He was entertaining, very knowledgeable, and a great driver. I love the quiz of Ireland.
Very good tour as described. Times are are a bit short for Blarney but that is fine because you get to see so much in one day. Our tour driver and guide Barry did a great job of giving history and stories while leaving space for ourselves. Avoid the food at Blarney as it was not very good. Great day overall.
Wonderful dat trip! We saw amazing castles, plenty of time to spend at each stop. We kissed the Blarney Stone! Our driver / tour guide was great. He sang a couple Irish songs during the drive.
We had a great experience on this tour. I recommend requesting Bobo as your driver if you are able. He was informative, personable and he even sang to us. We had a great experience. Although we were allotted 2.5 hours, I wish we had more time to explore the grounds at Blarney castle. We did have time to kiss the Blarney Stone, walk the Poisonous Garden, grab a quick lunch and get some great souvenirs.

Such and amazing experience! Our driver and guide BoBo- made it the day and our experience touring Ireland including Blarney Castle so memorable for our family. The castles were all very interesting and the landscapes were beautiful. Though we didn’t have a proper guide, the bus driver kept us informed with the schedule and shared stories and history about Ireland.

Great day seeing Blarney Castle (yep, kissed the stone, Rock of Cashel, and Cahir Castle. Driver and tour facilitator, Derek, was awesome! Interesting history stories of each site and a bit of singing. If you’re wanting to kiss the Blarney Stone know the lines can be quite long, so head there immediately after bus exit. If it’s a Friday, Saturday, Sunday or cruise ships are n port the crowd is even larger, so lines are twice as long, as is the wait. Plan accordingly. Recommend.
