This tour was amazing and made even better by Cualann! He was entertaining, knowledgeable and a natural storyteller. And pretty easy on the eyes too😂 There were so many beautiful stops along the way and the whole day was the perfect mix of incredible scenery, interesting stories, fun and plenty of laughs. If you want to experience the Isle of Skye while having a genuinely great time, I’d definitely recommend this tour!

This was my second tour with this company, and unfortunately, neither experience met my expectations. This particular tour was especially disappointing. From the beginning, the experience was frustrating. Mike, our driver, spent a significant amount of time complaining about the government and the driving conditions, rather than providing the history and information I had hoped to learn about the areas we were visiting. As someone who was traveling not only to experience Scotland but also to photograph its landscapes, I was hoping for much more insight into the history, scenery, and locations along the way. We had approximately an hour and 20 minutes in Portree for lunch, which was honestly the highlight of the tour. It gave us enough time to get out of the van, explore a little, and enjoy ourselves. Unfortunately, things went downhill from there. On our way to the Fairy Pools, our driver was informed by another driver in an RV that the road was blocked and that the delay to reach the pools could be at least an hour and a half. I understand that road closures and unexpected delays happen, and I don't fault the driver for the road being blocked. What disappointed me was how the alternative itinerary was handled. After calling in, our driver decided to take us to a waterfall and then attempt to see the Old Man of Storr. The drive took more than an hour, including going through Portree again. When we arrived, the waterfall was, frankly, disappointing, and the fog made it impossible to see the Old Man of Storr. We were given approximately 20 minutes to walk along a rocky area in an attempt to get closer to the viewpoint. It was raining steadily, and the rocks and ground were extremely slippery. As a photographer, I was already disappointed that the original destination was no longer possible, and the limited time and conditions made it even more difficult to get anything worthwhile photographically. I also felt that more effort could have been made to get us closer to the Old Man of Storr before turning around. We then got back in the van and proceeded to another location. Once again, the route took us through Portree. By the time we reached the next stop, another hour or more had passed. In total, we drove through Portree and its traffic and road construction three separate times. That was particularly frustrating because we spent considerably more time sitting in the van than we did actually experiencing or photographing Scotland's beautiful countryside. As a photographer, time at each location is extremely important. I'm not simply looking to check destinations off a list—I need time to get out, explore the surroundings, look for compositions, and work with the available light and weather. Scotland offers incredible photographic opportunities, but those opportunities require time outside the vehicle. I understand that unexpected circumstances can force a tour company to change its itinerary. However, I felt that this company and driver were not sufficiently prepared to make effective changes when an unexpected problem occurred. The alternative itinerary seemed to involve a great deal of driving with relatively little time spent at worthwhile locations. I came to Scotland hoping to experience and photograph its landscapes, and unfortunately, too much of this tour was spent inside the van. While I understand that not everything can be controlled on a tour, I expected the company to have a better contingency plan for road closures and other challenges. As a photographer and someone who specifically chose this tour for the opportunity to experience Scotland's scenery, I left feeling very disappointed with the overall experience. We spent a great day, Tabbie our guide, was absolutely astonishing, her approach and organization skills made this tour one of our favorite. The plan of the tour is rich, you can also really feel the atmosphere and have an real skye expirience

This tour is fantastic! Our tour guide Cualann was as informative as he was engaging. He regaled us with history and folklore tales all along Loch Ness, across the highlands and around the Isle of Skye. The Fairy Pools were beautiful and he stopped at many other sites throughout our day trip. The tour was a highlight of our visit to Scotland!

Amazing tour Amazing guide friendly, enthusiastic, knowledgeable i think it would have been a real good tour anyway but it was epic more so due to her and the weather was perfect all day which is rare up in skye especially late September and fairy pools has been cancelled before now this year even in summer so was fantastic today thanks to all who made it possible ive had a terrific day 😀 ❤️

I've had a fantastic day on this tour to Isle of Skye. My tour guide was Tabbie and I couldn't picture a better guide to do this tour with. She's extremely funny, positive and knowledgeable on all things Scotland. All in all, it was an amazing experience. There's karaoke too. I highly recommend this tour.

Cullen, our tour guide, was amazing. We had to pivot from our original plan of the fairie pools due to road closure ( we knew the day before) and he didn’t skip a beat! Very knowledgeable and kept us entertained the entire trip.

My family and I toured with Tabbie today, and we had a wonderful time! It was a long day, but Tabbie’s commentary made the time pass quickly on our longer stretches of driving. She was informative, hilarious, and clearly loves what she does! We didn’t have one bad stop on the tour. This was a 16-person group, and the van was temperate and comfortable. We got caught in the rain at the fairy pools, so I would recommend bringing an extra jacket to keep in the van just in case. We definitely recommend — this was well worth the ticket price.
