I would definitely skip the "Hogwarts Express". The windows were so fogged up you could barely see anything to take a picture and you have to be on the left side of the train to even get a good photo of the train going over the viaduct.
For the bus ride, most of the stops were fairly good, we got a bit rained out at some parts.
Craig, our driver, had some good stories and kept us alive. When he wasn't driving he was looking at his phone the whole time with little to no engagement which was quite a bit different from another driver we had through another company that was spectacular from his stories, engagement to his music playlist.

Jacobite Train & Viaduct/Highland Beautiful Views
Our guide did a nice time with entertaining and telling stories as well as sharing historical facts. Some beautiful stops and wonderful weather made the day perfect. Only drawback was that many of the businesses at the Ft. Augustus stop were closing for the day as we stopped. High point was getting to the and riding the Jacobite/Hogwarts Train.

Great ride through the Highlands.
Martin was a great guide! Deep knowledge and clear about tour expectations.
12 hours is a bit long for the tour, but he made it great.

No complaints.......
Craig the Rock our guide was fun and energetic, getting is through the wonderful Scottish rain. Plenty of knowledge about areas traveled. Unfortunately we traveled on a Sunday.....some businesses were closed. Train ride was a little disappointing because of vegitation growth along the tracks obscuring some views.

A great day
We really enjoyed our day and Iain was an excellent guide - absolute wealth of knowledge!
Only suggestion would be to drop some of the shorter stops for more time at Urquhart Castle

Great tour of the Highlands but underwhelming "harry potter" experience on the train
The Highlands tour itself was brilliant, Emily the driver was fab and showcased everything to us brilliantly, 5 stars for that but the "harry potter" train was quite poor if I'm honest. There isn't really anything harry potter about it really apart from going over the viaduct. We had to clean the windows both inside and out before we departed fort William, if we didn't do that we wouldn't of seen a great deal. Just very lucky we managed to find some toilet paper and cleaner inside of the carriage. It also said the train was the jacobite but it was a complete different train. The train journey itself is great and the views are amazing but feel unfair to call it the "harry potter Train"
