Instructions not very clear. I was not made aware how to reserve a daybed before my arrival. Upon my arrival, I was told that they were all sold out. Children are everywhere. They decide to lay on their beds that weren’t being used at the time. Sit in areas right in front of you and splash you with water when their parents weren’t paying attention to them. The food was absolutely awful. One thin slice of chicken, steak, and/or fish in between two very thick/tough hamburger buns with minimal toppings (sliders). The loaded fries taste like mayonnaise on top of potatoes, not the aïoli description provided. The bathroom was very smelly. Music was often off, and the playlist was not very diverse. I did enjoy the massage and the views. Nature also got the best of us when we were not able to load the main vessel and had to load little boats that got stuck in the sand (staff had to push/pull them back into the water.

Seems to have upgraded a bit since our last visit. Good service upon arrival and from our service attendant, Reape in restaurant area. Mostly good reviews from friends about their meals. Was good they had signs up for next best time for snorkeling. As upon arrival tide was still on way. Adding some photos I took on way around the Island

Waited 45min for lunch order. No spare deck chairs

Took my 10 & 7 year old Grandchildren - half day was perfect. Swimming and snorkelling a lot of fun and lunch was delicious. As a travel agent, will 10/10 recommend to my clients travelling to Fiji, especially if staying at Denarau as is a lovely island getaway.

A splendid island where you can spend a few hours waiting for your international flight back or simply enjoy a nice day...

We did the half day Mala Mala experience. The island was very nice, the beach is a little rocky, but still worth a wander around. The pool areas were lovely, we spent most of the afternoon on the beach by the wharf and the adult pool. Service to both areas was easy with orders and delivery. The boat trip there and back was enjoyable. I would recommend the half day, a full day may be abit long as there isn’t alot to do on the island besides relaxing and swimming in the pools.

Easy 30 minute boat ride to the island. Beach shoes are important for going in the water, as lots of shells and coral. The Snorkeling was really enjoyable. A little misleading that the food and drinks option wasn't included in the package, when the reviews about this package mentioned that it was included. Take your own snacks/lunch, as food on the island is expensive. A nice place to relax, read a book, swim, snorkel etc. Not quite as picturesque as in the pics. Pick an area on the island away from the toilets to sit and relax, as they did have quite an odour to them.

There are hidden extra costs when you go there. Also service was very average and not the most helpful

This was a fantastic experience. Make sure you have all your sun-smart gear. We reserved poolside sunbeds and they were well worth it!. Snorkeling was okay - been to better spots. But the experience is all about the location, the service and the relaxing atmosphere. Thankyou.
