Fantastic day out , excellent facilities , great food and drink options , plenty of day beds , awesome snorkelling

Beautiful and relaxing. Not much of a swimming place. Has a cool infinity pool, great service and nice day beds to relax on.

Beautiful island... friendly staff. So much of Fiji is beautiful it just wasn't worth the extra expense to do what we can at our resort. If you aren't at a beach already this is a great option.

Great island few things todo there. Good food music pumping everywhere on long the beach. Decent is pool also.

Excellent place for day out but few things which needs to be checked well, upon arrival with 6 adults and a child, i asked a male staff who applied lipstick at the counter of the main restaurant i guess his name was Tevita to reserved the table for my packs and in return he cleared stated cant and if reservations required it need to be after 2 or 3pm for lunch, i understand its a day cruises whereby people go out for fun activities with families but being out of such places and also being MCLUB MEMBER was little disappointing, i hope this can be managed by the management and even they can place other good staffs on counter to control guest reservations then being sorry with disappointment control by guest, remember we pay for the service not being denial by own local people who does not come welcome from good customer service, vinaka

Our experience started badly before we even got to the island. When we arrived at the cruise terminal in Nadi, we were told that the tour we had booked through Viator was overbooked and that we would need to seek a refund from Viator and find our own transportation back to our hotel, which would have cost us an additional 30 FJD. After escalating the issue to a manager, they eventually made an exception and allowed us to join the tour about 30 minutes later. While we appreciated the manager's help, it was frustrating to be left standing in the corner for about half an hour while other guests watched the situation unfold. Once we arrived at the island, we discovered that the kayaks and paddle boats were unavailable due to windy conditions. While we understand that safety comes first, it was disappointing since these activities were one of the reasons we chose to visit. The service on the island was also odd at times. One staff member asked us why we hadn't purchased any food and even suggested it might be because the food didn't taste good, which felt awkward and unprofessional. To make matters worse, we were given incorrect information about the shuttle schedule and nearly missed our ride back to the hotel. Overall, the day was filled with unnecessary stress, poor communication, and disappointing service. The manager's effort to accommodate us after the overbooking issue was appreciated, but it was not enough to make up for the many problems we encountered throughout the day. I would not recommend this experience based on our visit.

The island is beautiful and there are plenty of beds for everyone. The food was AMAZING, my 19 year old said it was the best fish and chips he'd every had, and we're from the UK where we love our fish and chips. Hammocks were lovely too. The only issue I had was that there was nowhere you could go, apart from paying for a cabana, to get some peace away from the very loud music. I wanted a moment to just sit on a bed and have the sounds of the ocean and breeze. Having music blaring at you for 8 hours solid, was a little intense. Apart from that the place was beautiful.

Malamala Island was beautiful. The staff and food amazing. We hired pool day beds which location to everything was great, unfortunately they were in full sun for most of the day so we spent most of the day in the pool or finding shade. In hindsight we should have done half a day and spent the rest of the day lounging around our resort pool.

My partner and I visited Malarial beach club in May of 2026. We had the most wonderful time!! This beach club is absolutely beautiful. The natural beauty is like no other. The food and the drinks were fantastic! All of the staff were absolutely incredible and so incredibly kind and hospital!! Specifically telling us was Ma. Ma was so kind and friendly and fun and provided the most amazing service!! Absolutely request Ma if you can!! We also had Ma's friend Alesha helping us who was also incredible and fun and kind and provided wonderful service!! We will be back as soon as we can!! Vinaka Malamala!!
