This was great. We had a...
This was great. We had a wonderful time seeing the renaissance academy and the church. Firenze has so much rich history we were unaware of. It was incredible to learn and experience it.

Very good tour.
Very informative tour. Hits the highlights. Our guide was very good and mindful of our safety and understanding of how things worked with security, etc. I felt we were in good hands. She positioned us well for photos too.

Sarah was a fantastic guide! Very knowledgeable and pleasant. The tour itself was a good overview of some of the highlights of Florence.

0/10 - Don’t book this tour or Walks In Europe tours
Do NOT book this tour, and don’t book any tours through “Walks In Europe” tours specifically. Find a tour operator or a tour with a much better cancellation or weather policy. We were supposed to go on the walking tour through several plazas and squares within Florence, however, there has been severe thunderstorms and lightning and still the tour operator has refused a refund. It is not worth the $$$ to be forced to go on a tour in awful and dangerous weather conditions. You will be much happier booking a different tour with a different operator!

Our tours operate rain or shine, as clearly stated in the trip notes provided with your booking. The tour proceeded as scheduled, with the guide and all other guests present, and all included sites remained open. We are sorry that the weather did not meet your expectations and understand that you would have preferred better conditions. However, as the tour operated normally and all services were provided, a refund is not applicable.

It was just as advertised our guide was very nice and knowledgeable, she made the 3 hour tour extremely entertaining, I really enjoyed it

Comprehensive Florence highlights tour.
Julia , our guide who speaks fluent English gave us comprehensive & complete guided tour. We entered the Academia without waiting and procededed to give us the highlights of the Academia with the not to miss Davide by Michelangelo. Second stop is the Duomo, the Florence cathedral. She gave us a historical background of the Amazing contruction of the Baptistry, Cathedral & Brunelleschi's Dome. We also had the privilege to enter the museum, from there we walked to Piazza della Signoria on the way to Ponte Vecchio. Julia truly loves imparting with us the wonders of the Museum, Cathedral and the Florence site. It is always better to have a guide when you want to see Davide and the Duomo in my opinion. Julia studied English and history of Florence which makes this tour a must.

Not as advertised
It’s not 3 hours. Your bell tower ticket may be hours after tour. You must follow dress code which they did not post until I complained. Don’t bother complaining to Viator, they don’t care.

The dress code required for entering cathedrals in Italy is clearly stated in the tour description before booking, as well as in the booking confirmation, voucher, and reminder messages. Despite this, your guide had to pause the tour to help you obtain suitable covers so that you could enter. The Bell Tower ticket is provided at the end of the guided tour, approximately three hours after the scheduled starting time, as clearly arranged within the tour itinerary. Participants cannot leave a scheduled group tour and expect the remaining services to be provided at a time of their own choosing. By joining a scheduled group tour, all participants agree to follow the itinerary, remain with the group, respect the guide’s instructions, and comply with the rules imposed by the religious sites visited. These requirements apply equally to everyone and are necessary for the tour to operate properly.
