We really enjoyed doing this tour. It was a great way to see areas of Ho Chi Minh City you perhaps wouldn’t on your own. So walking the streets between and seeing the contrast of some really quiet areas then suddenly super bustling areas was interesting. It was also a good way to have a break between eating! Albert was a knowledgeable, helpful and polite guide. He showed up on time to meet us, had everything arranged for us and provided lots of context and facts. The variety and amount of food was epic! We loved learning about the dishes and trying things we would not have known to try previously. We had our two kids 11 and 13 and they enjoyed it and were happy to learn and try the foods. We were worried about taking them on motorbikes so this walking tour is a great option for families. When they say don’t eat prior they mean it there is so much food to try! Highly recommend

With the wonderful Catherine as our host and guide we were given an amazing experience that didn’t just introduce us to phenomenal Vietnamese food. Learning how to navigate the streets of Ho Chi Minh and be treated to beautiful, authentic food, steeped in history, was the perfect way to start our Viet Nam adventure. Catherine was so much fun, teaching us about local customs, the history of different foods and establishments, and providing lots of ideas for planning to see the best of Viet Nam; and of course keeping us safe on the streets. I highly recommend this as a first thing to do when you arrive and ask if Catherine can be your guide and host. I’d suggest that you don’t have a big lunch if you’re doing the tour at night, as the amount of food on offer was substantial, varied, and delicious and you’ll want make sure you have plenty of room for all of it!

Catherine was a great guide, friendly, fun and took good care of us in the HCMC traffic. The food at all the vendors was very tasty, with clean environments and good service. I would definitely recommend this tour.

Thank you Albert and Sandy our guides for the evening street food tour, two university students clearly passionate about their country and keen to share an authentic food experience with us. Our guides were knowledgeable and able to communicate with excellent English language skills. Albert was able to share with us all the different fresh herbs used in the street food and showed us how to use them to roll up our Bahn Xeo with a selection of herbs to add to the flavour. The tour was well organised, guide met us promptly at the hotel and took us to the first eating stop. During the tour Sandy and Albert were happy to share about life in HCM and we learned a lot about the local.culture. Including how to cross the busy roads:-). Highly recommended.

Absolutely incredible street food tour! Our guide Thuy took us to her favorite local spots and everything was delicious! She was so fun and sweet and knowledgeable, teaching us some key Vietnamese words & phrases (like ‘cheers’), sharing history and cultural context and taking group photos for us along the way. The best night I’ve had visiting Saigon, would 100% recommend!

Tessie took us to some of the best hidden gem street foods in HCMC, places that the average tourist would never stumble. She has good relationships with all of the vendors and the food was always quick, fresh, and delicious. Tessie was friendly, knowledgeable, patient, and safety-conscious. Would highly recommend!
