Hop on hop off buses are a great way to see the sights.
The pink Love bus wasn't ideal on such hot days as the roof was only partially covered and with so many people using it the shaded areas had a s at city of seats & didn't run as frequently as suggested.

Dear Customer,
Thank you for sharing your feedback.
Our service is an open-top panoramic bus, designed specifically to allow passengers to enjoy unobstructed views of Rome's monuments and historic streets. During the summer months, temperatures in Rome can be very high, and customers should consider the type of experience they prefer before purchasing, choosing closed and fully air-conditioned transportation if they would rather avoid exposure to the sun.
Regarding shaded seating, availability naturally depends on the number of passengers on board at any given time, particularly during periods of high demand.
As for waiting times, traffic conditions, demonstrations and special events in the city can sometimes affect the frequency of the service, as indicated in our brochures and service information.
Kind regards,
I Love Rome Hop On Hop Off City Tour

Avoid this tour
Did not accept our ticket voucher on getting on bus. Took 15 minutes to figure it out. Same thing happened trying to get audio guide at St Mary Major. Never able to get audio guide.
Stops too long. Better experience on other Hop on Hop Off companies. Avoid this tour.
Free entry to Basilica. 6 euros for self audio guide at Basilica.

Very good bus ride
It was not excellent with the hop on hop off, it had 8 stops that you can visit all the most important attractions of roma, the frequency super well. We were able to go all over Rome.

Convenient way to go around the city.
Very convenient and easy way to go around the city. Specially if you are traveling with kids or senior. Be aware that some of busses are open roof, so be prepared on a hot and sunny day.
