The boat was old and the so called skipper was on his phone FaceTiming his girlfriend the whole time. When the weather turned bad( lightning , thunder and rough seas) the skipper continued FaceTiming. Everyone on the boat were very nervous but again the skipper didn’t say a word to us. We didn’t even know that we were heading back to the dock. Avoid this excursion!

Nice day out until the weather turned dark and stormy … fortunately we were heading back to shore when the heaven’s opened but managed to get back to Valletta without too much drama.

This tour was amazing and definitely the highlight of our trip. The blue lagoon and other areas we went to were beautiful. Driver Luke and Skipper Jimmy were both super knowledgeable and helpful. We were also provided with exact details of where to meet well in advance of the tour.

There was an extra fee (we didn't notice in the description) of 29 Euros per person which increased the cost substantially. The lagoon was gorgeous. Captain did a great job navigation the seas, the swimmers, and the rocks. Boat was clean and they had a speaker for music (super big plus ). no flippers and masks / snorkels were standard / cheapy / very used. BYOB snacks and drinks (PSA bring a bottle of procescco!) with a shared cooler on board.

Great Trip - Captain Ginger provided us with an enjoyable 2 hour boat trip to Blue Lagoon and Crystal Lagoon for a swim at by locations . Highly recommend this excursion.

This is the first time I've gone on a viator experience and been disappointed. We did not do everything as advertised. It advertised 3 swim locations of 25 to 30 mins each. We only had 2. We did see the caves but not the reef and we did not stop at the church at all in the hill. Basically we paid a A$200 to travel on a boat and swim and snorkel in 2 spots for 30 mins each and came up close to 2 cave spots. ($200 included the extra 29 euro each charged for admission to these sites) the swim was nice and the driver was friendly and polite and the transport there and back was efficient. I was just disappointed it wasn't as advertised.

Excellent!! Had a great day with this tour. Booked for 2 people and ended up just us. 1. Outdoor Explorers (tour operator) - Great job! Soon after booking, they communicate very detailed instruction and very quick reply with email and what's app. 2. Transfer driver - Nadine sent a text in advance to let us know about pick up. Showed and explained some spots on the way. Great driver. 3. Boat skipper - Justin made our day!! He is very friendly, fun, enjoy being with. He took us around with a beautiful boat. Thank you for assigning him for our tour. I highly recommend this tour and tour operator.

Bring your own towel, drinks or water, some water shoes for climbing on rocks. Snacks too. Loved every bit of this tour.

We were there with the cruise ship. We were forgotten. We stood for 30 minutes at 104 degrees at the meeting point. After we asked, a taxi came. No tour guide. We were told to get in. Then the taxi driver drives you to the boat. The boat tour was great. Afterward, you have to go to the kiosk. You should get back into a taxi there. The taxi driver did not stop at 2 stations, was annoyed, and kept saying he only had the order to drive back to the port. Total rip-off! 79 euros per person (there were 3 of us) for a taxi ride that probably wouldn't have cost 45 €. Attention, the boat tour costs extra! Another 29 euros per person. Stay away.
