it was expensive for what for got. Loads of teenagers tried to jump the queue but the staff were watching the boarding process and wouldn't allow it. The boat was rammed and full of would be influencers, taking videos of themselves going down the slide at the lagoon

We went on this tour and it was reasonably well organised. Apart from the drop off at the ferry terminal which was very chaotic. People were milling around until a Supreme rep' finally surfaced and started shouting instructions into the crowd. You'll read a lot about swimming in the crystal clear, turquoise water of the 'Blue Lagoon'. There are two problems with this description. Firstly, technically it's not a lagoon at all but rather just a bay. Secondly, it's not particularly blue. Most of it is normal sea colour with only very occasional patches of turquoise blue. The advertising photographs showing all the water a turquoise colour have been photo-shopped. Still, when you get into the water it's literally as warm as a bath. Overall, the tour was okay and (sort of) reasonable value for money. Just ... but please don't expect too much.
My husband and I booked this cruise early based on the exceptional ratings. When we arrived to board the cruise, Captain Kevin was waiting at the dock to check us in - early. He was informative and made sure that we knew what to expect. After we started sailing, he was great at explaining where we were going and what to expect from each stop. As well as really getting close to some tricky caves for us to see. When we arrived at the Blue Lagoon, the captain set the tone for fun- having the ship jump off the top deck or slide down into the water. It was fantastic and the water was great. There was an additional excursion for a speedboat ride to further explore the small caves, which we did. That was even more impressive and fun. The weather wasn’t in our favor, and after getting off in Gozo, we didn’t finish our trip (we did call the office to let them know) but even with the short time on the trip, it was excellent and I would definitely recommend it and do it again.
Swimming in the Blue Lagoon was amazing! I recommend you do snorkeling! The trip is well worth it. I booked the bus trip to Gozo island also, yes it is beautiful but next time I will spend more time swimming in the Blue Lagoon 😍

Reviews are quite overrated. The trip is good, nice quality/price rate, but it's not like the best day of your life as some people are describing. It could be more organized, specially the extras that we need to pay on board by cash, if the person selling them approaches us and there are still spots available. They could be sold in advance when booking the trip. I'd rather had a trip with a more comfortable boat. I got there at 9:20 and there were no seats available on the deck chairs. Other seats are tight and people definetily don't get to have the same experience.
