It was an incredible experience, both for the delicacies we tasted and also because Eva was more than great! She guided us on the food but also on the anecdotes and history of the neighborhood! I recommend +++++ and recommend Eva ++++
We had such a great experience with Eva. The other couple scheduled to go on the tour did not make it so it was just Eva, myself, and my husband. We had such a great time touring Trastevere, eating, and listening to Eva tell us about the food and the area. The stops on the food tour were amazing. The good was great, the items Eva ordered were classic Roma dishes, and the establishments themselves were very cool (nice locations, nice staff). Definitely take a tour with Eva the next time you are in Roma!
We were lucky enough to have Pier Francesco (Peter) as our guide. Not only did he bring us to the best places to eat, he also educated us on the history of the Trastevere area of Rome. We started with pastry in the Jewish Ghetto, then to a popular Porchetta sandwich shop followed by pasta at a restaurant close by. We had to give up on the last stop for Gelato because we were so full! In between food stops we visited some historical places. He did recommend a gelato place to go to later on and also recommended another restaurant in another city that we will be visiting later on our trip. He was very aware of making sure I was ok while walking as he knew I had recent knee surgery. Communication thru WhatsApp made everything easy. Check out a golf cart food tour with him. We met other customers who raved about that! Book and enjoy, you won’t be disappointed!

We saw most of the main sites of Rome during our trip, but this was my family’s favourite excursion. We were expertly guided round the Trastevere, stopping at main points of interest and a couple of superb churches, on the way to five separate food stops. The food was amazing, easily the best of the holiday; and that was no surprise, as Eva our guide is a French, trained chef living in Rome. Eva has curated this tour herself, and it really shows. We cannot recommend this highly enough.
Mathew was great. Very informative and great sense of humor. Also a huge James Bond fan which was an added bonus. We really enjoyed the trip around Rome with him. Food stops were excellent.
