We were booked on a one week tour that we discovered was not going to include driving the Ring of Kerry. With only a single day free our options were limited. Our luck changed when Ronan promptly answered our inquiry. He listened carefully to our requests and made it all happen. Spending 11 hours with Ronan was a pleasure, it was like travelling with an old friend. His knowledge and experience was impressive, we shared many laughs and saw everything we hoped to. Despite the narrow, winding roads we always felt safe, not to mention very comfortable in the van option. Visibility was great. We’ve never hired a private driver before, but the expense was money well spent. We were able to travel where the tour buses can’t like the Skellig Ring and on even smaller side roads.
