Absolutely loved the ring of Kerry tour! We stopped at a few small towns which were amazing. We had time to eat, shop, and take plenty of beautiful pictures. We felt totally immersed in the culture!!! Killarney national Park tour was the best as we opted to pay the 16 extra euros for the horse and carriage ride which I am so grateful that our tour guide for our excursion recommended! And speaking of our tour guide, Connor with Paddy tours was THE BEST! This lad knows his history of Ireland. Plus he was an excellent driver. He was friendly, professionals and the most knowledgeable tour guide we have ever experienced. Also loved that he was fun! Told cute jokes, and answered all questions that tourists had about Ireland and gave recommendations for other attractions. I strongly recommend Paddy Tours but only if you can have Connor as your guide!!! This trip was perfect for us!!!!

Bus loads almost outside my hotel. The bus is mixed with people doing the Dingle Tour but they will split the group in two at Killarney. Weather can make or break this tour. Kerry Bog Village Museum is worth visiting to see traditional rural life. Optional horse carriage rides in Killarney. Lots of stops and late lunch at 2pm so have snacks. Village of Sneem colorful afternoon stop.

This was a great tour with lots of stops along the way to take beautiful pictures! We saw several cute towns and so many shades of green!

Great way to see the city of Cork. Fot me it is much better than a bus tour. I would do it again. James is also a great Guide.

This was a great experience! The driver/guide was very informative and entertaining. We saw some amazing sites and took a carriage ride through the National Part. Well worth the trip!

The descriptions of this tour on the Viator and the Paddywagon website significantly lack transparency. We chose this tour over the one by Cork City Tours because we felt that one included a mediocre extra cost acrivitiy (Kerry Bog Village) and a lunch spot we weren't thrilled about (the Lobster) which we thought this tour did not include. However, it does include all of them and another one (coach ride in Killarney). It sucks to be informed of an extra cost activity while on the bus and having to decide right then and there if you want to do it or not without the chance to research beforehand. The coach tour in Killarney for example is 16 Euros extra per person which we would have liked to know in advance to decide on wheter or not to do it. We did not go and instead went to Killarney, where basically everything was closed and deserted as it was a Sunday and the day after a big celebration (the driver did warn us about this to be fair). The Lobster (the designated lunch spot) was also extremely full as another bus was already stopped there, so there was a lot of queuing and zero time to explore the town in the time window we had. In conclusion, the trip itself is great if the weather is nice (it wasn't that day but hey, we are in Ireland), the driver was lovely (I do not remember his name, unfortunately) but Paddywagon and Viator need to do a better job with transparency.

I don't usually book tours on a tour bus, but I had a free day while my husband was working, and this was a fun and really easy way to see the Ring of Kerry solo, without renting a car! The driver Ziko was from Croatia and was a little slow to warm up but he was fine, and drove us safely from place to place. Just don't expect a lot of Irish folklore or constant narration. I had already read the reviews and had lower expectations for this bus tour, but it was better than I expected! I was prepared for the upcharges- the tourist trap at the Bog Village was meh, but the $16 horse and carriage ride in Killarney National Park was really nice! It was raining but the scenery was pretty and I think it was a better use of time than walking around Killarney for an hour. There are a lot of scenic overlooks the bus stops at for 5-15 minutes to take pictures, which helped break the trip up. The hour stop in Waterville was basically so the bus could unload and all eat at the same restaurant called The Lobster, which had the best fish and chips I've ever had. But not enough time to explore anything else but the restaurant. There was a nice, longer stop in Sneem where you could walk around or shop. The last stop at the waterfall was also about an hour and was beautiful. Overall, I thought it was a really nice tour, and you got to see the majority of the Ring of Kerry in a really easy, stress-free way! If you know you're going to be making a lot of touristy stops and you just embrace it, because, yes, we are tourists(!) and you just roll with it, it is very enjoyable, especially for the price! So glad I went!
