サマルカンドで最高の体験のひとつになりました。 Akramさんと市場で食材を買い、パン工房で伝統的なパン作りを見学。その後ご自宅に招いていただき、ご家族や親戚の皆さんと交流しながら、プロフとチュチュヴァラを一緒に作りました。 料理はもちろん、Akramさんとご家族の温かいホスピタリティが本当に素晴らしかったです。単なる料理教室ではなく、ウズベキスタンの家庭や食文化に触れられる貴重な体験でした。心からおすすめします！ One of the best experiences I had in Samarkand! We shopped for ingredients at a local market with Akram, visited a bakery to see traditional bread being made, and then joined his family at their home to cook plov and chuchvara together. Akram and his family were incredibly warm and welcoming. This was much more than a cooking class—it was a wonderful opportunity to experience Uzbek family life, food culture and genuine hospitality. Highly recommended!

Akram and his family were very welcoming with at least 3 generations of the wider family there, all hospitable and interesting. The food was delicious and Akram's English was very good so he was able to answer lots of questions we had had about Uzbekistan. We quickly felt like we were guests, not just tourists. I would really recommend this very memorable experience.

Review This was so much more than a cooking class—it was a genuine Uzbek family experience in a village outside Samarkand. From the moment we arrived, Akram and his wife welcomed us into their home and treated us like family. We were greeted with a huge table filled with delicious food, tea, and sweets. I went to the market with them and we made the national food of plove and the best kebab/shakili i ever had. They were all cooked using real tree wood coal. The food was absolutely delicious, but what made the experience truly special was getting to learn about Uzbek culture and everyday family life. The family was all so welcoming and i felt bad that i dont speak russian as the vibrant father really wanted to communicate with me :-) Akram was a wonderful host, and we had so much fun. We left feeling like we had spent time with old friends rather than simply attended a cooking class. Highly recommended if you want an authentic and memorable Uzbek experience!

The absolute highlight of my trip to Samarkand! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ This cooking class was honestly the best experience I had during my entire trip to Samarkand. From the moment we arrived, the family made me feel so welcome. It was so much more than just a cooking class. It was a genuine opportunity to experience Uzbek culture, food, traditions, and family life. We cooked traditional Uzbek plov and khanom together, and everything was explained with so much care and patience. The food was absolutely delicious, but the experience itself was what made it so special. What I loved most was that the family went beyond the cooking class and showed me more of their culture. They took me to see how traditional Uzbek bread is made and also took me to a silk carpet shop, where I could see the incredible craftsmanship that goes into making these beautiful carpets. These little experiences made the day feel so personal and authentic. After cooking, we sat together and enjoyed the food we had prepared. The hospitality was incredible. Everyone was so warm, kind, and welcoming, and I genuinely felt like I was spending the day with a local family rather than simply doing a tourist activity. If you are visiting Samarkand, please do this cooking class! It was easily the highlight of my trip and one of those experiences that I know I will remember for a very long time. I came to Samarkand wanting to experience the culture, and this gave me exactly that. ❤️🇺🇿 Absolutely unforgettable. Highly, highly recommended!

I was sick and could not participate, but my friend went and had an amazing time. She reported back that spending time with the family was wonderful, as was the food and stops along the way. She greatly enjoyed the experience.

If you want to get to know the country AND people, this tour is a very good opportunity. You got an insight away from the tourist hotspots. Akram and his family welcomed me very openly and kindly, and we had very interesting conversations and exchanges. Thank you Akram for letting me be your guest!

We had an amazing experience with Akram and his family. The atmosphere was really pleasant, you get to see the local culture and to interact with local people. We could discover a lot about the country and the habits of the people by discussing and hearing stories from Akram. His English level is perfect. We cooked 2 delicious meals (we could choose out of a long list of options) having the guidance of his talented wife. We went to buy some ingredients from the local market in Samarkand and this activity was nice. He offered by himself to take us to visit the local carpet factory where we could learn about the handmade manufacturing process. We highly recommend you to book this activity if you want to be close to the Uzbek culture. With Akram we did as well one day trip to 7 Lakes in Tajikistan and this was more than amazing. He organized everything including pickup, transportation, nice pictures 😊 and good food. Pickup and dropping off was included. Thanks a lot, Akram.

Akram was an amazing host and guide. We got to check out the local bazaar, cook food at his place and eat amazing wonderful local Uzbekistan food. We also had to time to check out the silk carpet factory and a local place where they made Samarkand non at the end too! Would highly recommend to anyone wanting to try out this experience. You will not regret it.

The food was great and I learnes a lot about the Uzbek cuisine. The lady that was the guide & cook was also very friendly!

So much more than a cooking class! You are driven from your hotel to the bazaar to shop and haggle, whisked to the unique bakery where they freshly bake the local bread in tandoors, and then driven to the host's village, where you get the unique pleasures of joining his family to cook local dishes, get spoiled in a feast, and enjoy the village culture. In his residential complex there's a cow, goats, cats, rabbits and a large garden of potatoes. It was fun, comfortable, unique and yummy. I'd recommend this excursion for all kinds of groups, including families and the elderly.
