I booked the Private Samarkand City Tour and thoroughly enjoyed it. Amin was a professional guide full of good information which I appreciated. I could just relax and enjoy learning more about Uzbekistan and the wonderful people, and the great history and heritage. I recommend Amin as your guide.🙂

We had a fantastic private tour of Samarkand as a family. We had previously done walking tours in both Tashkent and Bukhara, and although the private tour in Samarkand was more expensive, it was definitely worth the extra cost. Our guide Amin was absolutely brilliant and really made the experience for us. He was knowledgeable, friendly and very engaging, but most importantly, he allowed us to explore at our own pace. We never felt rushed and had plenty of time to ask questions, stop when we wanted to, and spend longer at the places that interested us most. He was also very accommodating to us travelling as a family. Having a private car as well as a guide made a huge difference. It made getting between the different sights much easier and more comfortable, particularly with children, and meant we could concentrate on enjoying and learning about Samarkand rather than worrying about logistics. Compared with the walking tours we did in Tashkent and Bukhara, this felt much more personal and engaging. Our guide really brought the history of Samarkand to life and made the day very memorable for the whole family. We would highly recommend the experience, particularly for families. The ultimate city tour! Pleasant, informative, well balanced, perfectly organised, fully customisable and time saving. Amin is not only knowledgeable and helpful, but also intuitive, passionate, easygoing and genuinely fun. He told us significant details, drove our attention to curious facts and showed us hidden spots that we would have missed without him. An absolute must have tour, tour guide and driver.

Fantastic full day tour in Samarkand! Our guide Usmon was waiting for us in the hotel lobby and immediately personalized the whole day to whatever we wanted. I assumed we would start at the nearest monument to us, but he had already scoped out that there were lots of tour buses there and decided to save that for later in the day, which was fantastic for us. Everything was at our own pace and focused on what we were interested in. He was candid and answered all of our questions about history, Uzbekistan today, and everything else. Even took us to a lunch place that felt more local - we were the only tourists there! It was a perfect trip to see all of Samarkand’s highlights in a single day and was a very reasonable price (make sure to bring some cash for entry fees tho!). Highly recommend this tour

If you’re in Samarkand this is definitely the tour I would book. Amin is such a great guide-not only is he incredibly knowledgeable but he is so funny. We all had an amazing time and would definitely recommend booking this tour with him if you have the opportunity.
