Fantastic Day Trip!
Booking this experience is cheaper than booking with the ferry line directly. I’d recommend arriving to the ferry terminal about 45 minutes before departure, just to make sure you get checked in. There are kiosks you can put your reservation number in to check-in or there is a helpdesk if you have trouble. Our ship actually left early going and coming back, so make sure you’re on time or you will get left! I think they close the boarding doors about 20 minutes before departure.
Tallin was a lovely town to explore. It was an easy walk from the port down to old town.
The ferry is top-notch, very clean. Plenty of places to sit and relax, also plenty of places to purchase food if you want to eat. You can also bring your own food on board.

Arrive early
As others have said, get to the arrival area about 60 minutes early for check-in. Our experience was that the vessel left 15 minutes early both ways. There were many different seating areas, a superstore for shopping, and many food options. Overall, an excellent value.

Well worth it!
First, and most importantly, get to the Ferry at least 30mins before departure. Boarding closes 20mins before the departure time.
The ferry itself is a beautiful experience with shopping and food options galore, gaming lounges, bars, etc.
Talinn is absolutely gorgeous and well worth the visit.
This was a phenomenal experience, overall.

Very smooth
Doors open about 0710 and we got the early ferry at 0730. Just sit where you want. Food is good on the ferry lots of choice for everyone. Crossing was smooth both ways. We had no problems at all everything went to plan.

Beautiful experience!
Excellent experience! The ferry is actually a small ship, equipped with every comfort. On board there are bars, restaurants, a shopping area, armchairs for resting, and play areas for adults and children. The ship is very clean, the furnishings are very beautiful, and the food is good. It is almost a shame to have to get off!

Lovely boat, easy to find and navigate the port, quick crossing and easy to get to the old town in Tallinn on arrival.

Good value
Good means of transportation to/from Tallinn. I just wish the location of the ferry departure in Tallinn was more explicitly indicated in the tour description or the ticket confirmation email. We had to scramble to find it in all of the communications in order to find it on our way back to the port.

To Tallinn.
For two hours each way, we never got bored with shops and restaurants of all types. It's a big ship with quite a few seats, but it was a bit difficult to find one because it was summer on season.
I had to show my passport at the service counter to confirm my registration and get my TripAdvisor ticket and barcode issued because I can't check in at the machine.
