Diana was amazing! The sites and tour were awesome. Highly recommend.
Luis was an excellent tour guide! Our hike through El Yunque Rainforest was magnificent! Luis has an amazing eye! He spotted so much along our way. His knowledge of El Yunque's nature went far beyond what I would have hoped on this hike. We also went to a swimming area which was very refreshing & very welcomed. I would definitely recommend that anyone interested in a hike through El Yunque to consider this excursion with Luis.
Diana was awesome and very informative! Would 10/10 go back! Just the right amount of time to still be able to come back to San Juan and go to the beach! The Forrest is beautiful full of life!
The old van was noisy and the ride was very bumpy.. Rainforest was muddy - bring appropriate shoes. Our tour guide was sweet but so soft spoken we couldn’t hear her. The experience and stops were underwhelming. There was silence on our ride back to the hotel/ tour guide did not speak.
Local guide with extensive knowledge of area and park. He pointed out some little critters like snails and frogs plus interesting plants and trees. Not a strenuous hike if you are in reasonable shape (I need to get to the gym, ha ha). Of course we had a downpour (this is common) so plan accordingly. Weather was mild so I didn’t mind. We took a short dip in the water near the end. Kind of a strange spot but I was happy to refresh before my flight home. While lunch was not included, we stopped at a hut on the way back to town and sampled just about all the meats, rice and a deep fried tasty thing. Pretty reasonable! Small snafu with the booking but it all worked out (it was an error on Viators side which I alerted the company to.)
My wife and I really enjoyed our half day experience with the very pleasant Diana as our guide. Keep in mind that the trip to El Yunque takes 90 minutes. We really appreciated that Diana picked us up from our Condado hotel but because she had already picked up people from Old San Juan, she also dropped them off first before returning to Condado. Diana provided lots of interesting information on the way. We stopped at the tower and the waterfall but the highlight for us was the optional opportunity to jump and swing into the river. Take a phone/camera if you want pictures of this experience
Jose Enrique was knowledgeable and engaging. The paths are paved and the hikes are short, so most people will have no problem.
We had a phenomenal time with Jose Enrique and Diana as our tour guides. Pick up and drop off were prompt and they gave us a heads up when they were on their way. Both tour guides were incredibly outgoing and you could tell they felt passionate about the work they do. The drive went quick as both tour guides told us about Puerto Rico history and culture. El Yunque observatory tower, hike, waterfall, and swimming hole spoke for themselves- a truly incredible experience, with the tour guides providing knowledge along the way.
Even though the trek was challenging it was also worth the effort Thanature was its best all different kinds of flea and insects The guide was very knowledgeable and explained in details she also answered all questions Highly recommend it anyone
Best way to see El Yunque and not have to drive yourself. They can pick you up from 9 different hotels around San Juan. We get a bit of history of Puerto Rico and El Yunque. The guide was informative about the local wild life and plant life within the rainforest. The hike was very short and the trail was packed down and easy to traverse. The swimming afterwards was definitely worth it. The water is a little cold but you get used to it very quickly. Definitely bring water shoes and a towel. The ride to and from was good but a bit bumpy (sounds normal for Puerto Rico.)
