We had a great time exploring El Yunque with Anthony! Part of our group was late and he waited for them. He was knowledgeable about the island and its flora and fauna. He was a competent guide, making sure we had a safe experience. The kids (and we all) had a blast sliding, jumping and swimming in the refreshing water! I highly recommend.
The experience with my family was absolutely amazing! My children loved the entire tour and had such a great time. Ashley was an incredible tour guide—friendly, knowledgeable, and wonderful with our family. She really helped make the experience memorable for all of us!
Our family of five, with three children ages 7, 10, and 12, had the BEST time on this adventure! We booked the 10 AM tour through Viator. The bus ride there was hot, so I definitely recommend bringing plenty of water, including an extra bottle for the ride. They do sell cold water bottles on the bus for $2 each. We left all of our other belongings on the bus and only brought our water bottles and phones with us on the hike. The hike was definitely challenging for this out-of-shape mom! Even my husband, who is very fit, slipped a few times. The rocks are extremely slippery, so be prepared. We wore water shoes that we purchased from Amazon, and they worked great for the hike and water activities. We had an absolute blast going down the natural water slides and doing the jumps! I wasn’t planning to jump because I’m definitely not as brave as my husband and kids, but I ended up doing the 8-foot jump (the smaller jump), and it wasn’t bad at all! I’m so glad I stepped outside my comfort zone. One thing to be aware of is that there is an area where you swim under a rock. It is a very tight, small space, so if you’re uncomfortable with confined spaces, keep that in mind. Our guide, Luismi, and our bus driver, Jonathan, were absolutely amazing. They were so helpful throughout the entire adventure. They helped pull me up onto rocks when I didn’t think I was going to make it and helped our kids when they needed it, too. They truly went above and beyond to make sure everyone was safe and having a great time. Our guide air dropped the photos and videos to our phone on the walk back which was an amazing bonus! This was without a doubt a bucket-list-worthy experience for our family, and we’re so glad we did it! On the way back, we stopped at a restaurant along the beach that our driver recommended. The burgers and shrimp were delicious, and the drinks were exactly what we needed after a hot, exhausting hike! If you’re considering this tour, DO IT! Just bring plenty of water, wear shoes with good traction, and be ready for an adventure!
This was our first hike. 2 over 40 year olds a 17 year old and a 12 year old. We were pretty scared. Ashley was the best tour guide. Made us feel safe all the way through. My 12 year old that was afraid of heights wanted to do it all again and said that it was the best part of the trip. Thanks Ashley!!
I loved the rain forest it was so beautiful. Great experience. Only thing I did not like was when it came time to receive the pictures they didn't have to hold they end of the bargain due to me having an android. I feel like everyone does not have a iPhone so alternate measures should be in place for that reason. Other then that the trip was good. I just wish I had my pictures

Anthony made our El Yunque tour an experience my girls and I will never forget! I was on my own with my three daughters, and he helped so much, making it easy for me to enjoy the adventure with them. He went above and beyond to make it special for each of the girls, and that meant the world to me as their mom. They’ll be talking about this day for the rest of their lives!
