They should not book with this company. We were ripped off and not happy about it. I will also be advising my travel agent who booked this tour for us how unhappy we are.

We tried to connect with our local tour company before this Tour, which was supposed to be the Exterior tour, first. We were running late due to traffic and we wanted to join the tour while they had already started. I tried for about 45 minutes to reach the local tour company before contacting Viator in the US - only option. By this time the tour was well underway and there wasn't an option for us to join them (we arrived at the meeting spot 10 minutes after the meeting time. The local company finally contacted us back and put us on an exterior tour. Refunds were not available. And, the same tour we booked was not available. After the exterior tour, which had a good guide, we were pointed to the que to enter the Notre Dame on our own. BTW - there is no cost to enter and it takes about 20 minutes to enter, without a reservation. THEREFORE, SAVE YOUR MONEY and do not book this tour. I do not recommend. We absolutely wasted 280 euro.

Guide was on time and very thorough and knowlegeable. She gave us complete history and then we had time to stay after on our own.

We were informed two days before the tour, on the same day our credit card was charged, that we would not be able to go inside the cathedral. This was our single reason for going to Paris. We were told that the change was because of a new rule that came into effect 16 days before the tour, so why were we not informed before our card was charged? We cancelled the tour and went on the Cathedral website and obtained free tickets to go inside.

Pay attention to your meeting place. Do NOT get in one of the lines to enter Notre Dame. I thought we had a “reservation time” and we did not. The reservation time is with your guide outside ND. Fortunately, we were able to meet our guide inside ND and everything went well after that. Andrea was wonderful. She was knowledgeable and gave lots of information without being boring. When you have the audio guides, you can get overloaded with information. With a guide, you get ask questions and can learn much more. I highly recommend Andrea and this tour group.
