Elafonisi and Falasarna are both incredibly beautiful beaches, and we were so glad to have the opportunity to see them. Unfortunately, Falasarna was extremely windy the day we visited. The blowing sand was actually painful against our skin, so we could only stay for about ten minutes. Of course, the weather was beyond anyone’s control, and the beauty of the beach was still undeniable. Our driver, George, was sweet and arrived in a very clean, comfortable, and modern vehicle. He also took us to a wonderfully authentic Greek taverna tucked away in the mountains, where we had one of the best lunches of our entire trip. It was a special place we never would have found on our own, and we truly appreciated that part of the day. Sadly, despite those positives, we cannot recommend George as a driver. He drove extremely fast for most of the trip—at times appearing to travel at more than twice the posted speed limit. This continued around sharp curves, along the edges of cliffs, and while passing other vehicles. We felt frightened and unsafe throughout much of the journey. George was kind to us, and we genuinely wish we could give this experience a better review. However, on a private excursion where so much of the day is spent in the car, the driver’s most important responsibility is getting guests to each destination safely. In that respect, we feel our experience fell seriously short. The beaches were beautiful and the lunch was unforgettable, but no part of an excursion is worth feeling that your safety is at risk.

George was fantastic. Very flexible and easy going. He really knew the area and was very helpful. Definitely would recommend!

The driver George was excellent. He took us on a side excursion to a cave and stopped at a pleasant cafe for lunch. He was very informative about the local culture and accommodating when we wanted to change our itinerary. We highly recommend.

Thank you for a great day at the beach! Giorgos did a great job - was on time and ensured we made it back to our cruise ship with plenty of time. We stopped at a beautiful cave on the way to Elafonisi Beach as a bonus! The beach is beautiful and we had plenty of time to enjoy it!
