午前 8 時にザグレブのホテルにお迎えに上がり、市内を出発してスロベニアの首都リュブリャナまで 1.5 時間のドライブに出発します。
サヴァ川を渡ると、正式にザグレブを出て冒険が始まります。
ゆったりとしたドライブを楽しみながら、クロアチア国境を越える直前に、丘の上にある中世の城、モクリツェ城が見えます。この城には豊かな歴史があり、15 世紀にはすでに言及されていました。何世紀にもわたって多くの貴族の家がここにあり、そのうちの 1 つが有名なアウエルスペルグ家です。ペット ショップ ボーイズのミュージック ビデオにも使用されました。
ドライブの途中で、クロアチアとスロベニアの両国にとって非常に重要なエネルギー源であるクルシュコ市も通ります。クルシュコ原子力発電所があるからです。この発電所はユーゴスラビア時代に両国政府の合弁事業で、スロベニアの電力供給の 4 分の 1 以上、クロアチアの電力供給の 15% を供給しています。

ドライブを楽しみながら、スロベニアで 4 番目に大きな都市、クラーニを訪れることもできます。中世にまで遡る歴史を持つ、文化的に豊かな都市です。ソーセージでも有名です。
ドライブの途中で、ジュリア・アルプスのすぐ隣にある小さくて趣のある町、ラドヴリツァも通ります。ラドヴリツァは毎年 4 月に開催されるチョコレート フェスティバルで有名です。
ブレッド湖を訪れたら、スロベニア唯一の島へのボートツアーは欠かせません。プレトナと呼ばれる伝統的なボートに乗って湖を巡り、島まで行くことができます。この伝統的なボートは、ブレッド湖以外では世界中どこにも見られません。ボートに乗って島まで行き、島を散策したり、メアリー女王教会を訪れたり、幸運の鐘を鳴らしたり、太陽を浴びたり、山の素敵な空気を楽しんだりできます。

Phenomenal, Antonio, the guide was very helpful, attentive, polite, professional, everything went exactly as scheduled. Punctual.
Nice. At lake bled, the sunshine is too strong, so can't take good picture. The entry fees there are too high. Like a boat of about 16 people charges each 20 euro for the activity that takes about 1 hour only.
This day trip is definitely not to be recommended, our so called guide/driver was called Alan. On the outward journey he demonstrated a surprising lack of driving ability, he appeared to not know where he was going. Over shot at least one turn off. Total disregard for speed limits or how to control a van safely on bends. I believe at our first stop one of the other guests called the company to complain and when we left the first location his driving did improve. We were dreading the drive back from Bled. The 1 hour guided tour of Ljubljana was very rushed and lacked apparent knowledge. We were glad to get away from Alan for 2 hours and took a relaxing boat trip with a guide giving great explanations and interesting facts. Alan also lacks a decent command of English and when asked question he would rarely answer the question asked but talk about what I presume he thought the question was. Alan did not know the cost of entry to most of the extra activities nor did he know if they accepted cards. Bottom line I would not recommend a compay that employs drivers/guides that are not trained to do the job. I feel that we are owed a refund as the basic contract we had with the company was not fulfilled. I hope that Viator also takes this company of their list of recommended companies.

The trip was amazing! Slovenia was beautiful Our guide Lukas was honesty the best guide I’ve ever had traveling He was interesting,funny and very informative. I highly recommend this tour.
We had a very enjoyable trip to Ljubljana and Lake Bled. Both places were absolutely beautiful, with charming cities, stunning nature, and amazing scenery throughout the day. The drive was comfortable and well organized, and everything ran smoothly. The only downside was that the driver-guide spoke to the group for only about 10 minutes during the entire 10.5 hours trip, so we would have appreciated more information and interaction along the way.
The itinerary was well planned, leaving enough time for exploring Ljubljana and Lake Bled on our own. Our small group of strangers were friends by the end of the afternoon thanks to such a personable guide.
Great being a small group tour, makes the experience friendlier. Lukas, our guide, was punctual and informative. Good communicator. Ljubljana is a beautiful town. Lake Bled and the Castle both part of the great experience of the day
I had a wonderful time on this tour. Everything was well organised, and our guide Mario was knowledgeable and very entertaining (great sense of humour!). The tour lasted the entire day, roughly equally split between Ljubljana and Bled. I found our group size (just eight of us) to be ideal for navigating crowded areas (despite being the shoulder season, there seems to be a lot of visitors already). The crowd did not deter my enjoyment of the sites, however: Ljubljana is a charming little capital full of surprises, and Bled is amazing (both the lake and castle) - good weather helped tremendously. There was ample time for me to do all the recommended activities, though please be advised that some steps/inclines are involved in Bled, so do wear comfortable shoes.
Slovenia is a beautiful place: its capital, its buildings, its castle, its Bled lake of beautiful waters, the Castle that treasures memories and stories and its people do everything wonderful. Also, Tom, our guide today was the best thing we had on the tour. 100 out of 100.
This experience was 10/10. The pace and content were exactly what we had hoped for. From the moment we were picked up at our hotel (exactly on time, which was very much appreciated), Mario took excellent care of our group. In Ljubljana, he showed us the best place to take in city views, provided history of the main landmarks, and gave plenty of time to explore on our own. At Bled, we joined another Toural group and immediately hopped onto a pletna boat to the island, which was absolutely beautiful. The views from Bled Castle were absolutely breathtaking, and we were given ample time to see everything we wanted! The weather was sunny and warm, and we enjoyed the day to the fullest!
