The speaker on our trip there did not work so we could not hear the guide. Our group of eight had to join up with about 20 other people for the walking tour. Wish our afternoon guide had given us a phone number to call since we were done early in Lake Bled. The tour nicely covered beautiful Lubjlana and all the aspects of Lake Bled. Itinerary was good, execution was average.
It is a beautiful place to visit but with a different tour agency . A tour was not organised properly . A driver was always late ( not only for puck up from hotel )and lazy . After a boat tour the entire group was waiting for hom for about at least 45 minutes because he was not sure when he needs to pick us up . We didn’t not have a guided tour in the castle as it was described . I would recommend this agency but Slovenia is stunning
This was a great trip in beautiful and historic scenery but it was disappointing that what was delivered was three separate trips stitched together rather than having one guide and vehicle with us for the whole day. This meant some hanging around and uncertainty as we awaited different guides and transport. It was a long day and physical fitness is needed for the walking tour, castle and island visits.
The worst tour ever ! The tour even did not start at all. I came to the meeting point 15 minutes before and waited over one hour. None arrived. By calling or messaging the operator I got no answer at all. In addition, the operator messaged me two days before trip and wanted to cancel it die to some vehicle reasons, but after few hour said that everything is okay and the tour will be.:4
We’re sorry for the misunderstanding. However, our guide was at the meeting point on time and waited for you. Both the guide and our team attempted to contact you, but unfortunately received no response. The vehicle issue mentioned two days earlier was resolved, and we confirmed that the tour would proceed as planned.
The experience was very good!The view was magical and the driver was very good and friendly and explained is everything we asked
We had a wonderful tour of the city and then the Lake Bled Castle and a boat ride to the island with a stop for a photo op at the heart.
The day trip itself was great, but be aware that it actually runs closer to 14 hours, not 12, so you shouldn’t plan anything for the evening. Communication from our first driver was poor, and a lot of the information from the walking tour was repeated again during the Lake Bled portion. It really feels like the experience is stitched together from several different tours rather than one seamless itinerary. We also spent over an hour in total just waiting for vans, which was disappointing. You switch vehicles multiple times, including different vans for the drive to and from Bled, so don’t bring anything you're prepared to carry with you.
This would have been 5 stars however this was such a long day! Information said 0730-1930, our day finished just under 14 hours at 2120. Would not recommend for children under 10, this would be too long for little people. Our driver did give us a heads up on our return time at the beginning of the day, but there is nothing you can do by this time. Pick up could have been more streamlined with one area for travellers to begin and end at. Our driver was fabulous; great with time management for the day. Friendly and welcoming. Ljubljana and Bled are beautiful!! Worth it for seeing both these places.
This tour was amazing, largely thanks to our guide (name begins with "V", please check who led the 9th August trip, as she deserves huge praise). She was incredibly kind, patient, and welcoming. She is one of the best guides I've ever had. She kept us informed, drove safely, and even provided water throughout. What made it stand out: everything was all-inclusive; tickets for Bled Castle, the cream cake, and the boat ride were pre-booked, so no queues. Weather was cooler than Zagreb but still warm, so dress light in August. A perfect guide made this the perfect trip. Highly recommended!
