Our guide was not present when the tour was supposed to start. I contacted a person who I presume was the owner. Long story short- no one was staffed to do this tour. We ultimately met up with our guide 45 mins after our scheduled start time. The guide was "ok" but couldn't answer some basic questions. Also having to wait in line for our "samples" kind of negates having a guide. That's supposed to be one of the perks of a tour like this..
Our guide was 20 mins late, the directions on where to meet were, to say the least, confusing. There were three groups and each group had the same issue with the start location. It was a lovely walk through Granville and the Market on a beautiful day, the samplings were tasty
never went on tour as was given in correct address to meet. and we had no phone connection in canada we could not make any contact.

The meeting point address provided in your booking was accurate and is the same location successfully used by our other guests. Three members of our team attempted to contact you before and during the tour through phone calls, text messages, and Viator messaging. Our guide also waited an additional 20 minutes at the meeting point before beginning the tour with the other guests. We understand that not having phone service in Canada made communication difficult. However, our team made every reasonable effort to reach you and help you join the tour, and we’re sorry that, despite those efforts, you were unable to attend.
We had such a nice time on this tour with Landon! It was fun and tasty! We learned some of the history of Granville Island and enjoyed delicious regional foods. We loved touring the public market with Landon, we tried foods that we normally wouldn’t have eaten and he told us about the origins of some and how they came to be. The last stop was one of my favorites, a very nice surprise. Our group was the perfect size, Thank you, Landon for a fantastic tour and the wonderful person that you are!

Granville is a great place to visit and lots to offer. Not a lot of Vancouver history or local information was provided. The market was very busy on this Sunday morning. Stops included a lot of sweets including donut, custard like pastry, charcuterie meats, chocolate free snack, a taco and a lobster roll. The lobster roll was the highlight. 1 drink was included with the taco (Birria). I expected more info about the city and more creativity of foods like coffee, cheeses and maybe a waffle. More brunch foods and more unique tastings
Our tour guide, Landon was amazing! We had a private tour and it was very worth it, lots of yummy food spots!
