私たちは、日本の伝統工芸である手すき和紙を体験できるワークショップを提供しています。 土佐和紙は、1000年以上の歴史を持つ、日本三大和紙のひとつです。強さと温かみが特徴で、気軽に体験できるため、浅草での思い出作りにもぴったり。クラフトや日本文化に興味のある方におすすめです。 最初に、土佐和紙の歴史や製法についての短い動画をご覧いただきます。 その後、「作務衣」と呼ばれる伝統的な作業着に着替え、インストラクターのサポートを受けながら、和紙のポストカードを手作りします。 プレーンプランとカラープランの両方で、無地のポストカードを4枚制作します。 カラープランではさらに、レースのような装飾和紙「落水紙」を重ねて仕上げる工程があります。お好きな色を4枚お選びいただけます。 ワークショップ中は笑顔と驚きがあふれ、多くの方が仕上がった和紙の美しさに感動されています。 ぜひ、自分で作った和紙を特別なお土産としてお持ち帰りください。

A very relaxing and informative experience to understanding the history and traditional process of washi making. The instructors were friendly and knowledgeable and the gift store was full of beautiful souvenirs.

Great introduction to making washi paper showing the techniques . This is a hands on experience and gives an idea of the processes involved. You end up with four postcard with a coloured washi paper added at last stage. Sang lovely hostess. Thank you. Lovely stationery shop too.

Finding the shop was challenging, however, it was worth it. The shop is a handmade paper lover's dream and the shop owner is very friendly. We joined a third person for our paper making workshop. We all donned samue, had a brief video introduction and an overview of the process from our teacher, Kazu. He guided us through the process very efficiently and we created 4 colored paper postcards. I love handmade paper. We had visited a paper maker's home in Ogawamachi in 1982. He was deemed a national treasure. It was then I fell in love with handmade paper. I've even tried it at home. So, it was very special to find an experience while here!! Thank you, Washino, it was a highlight experience of my return to Tokyo. Even if you are not interested in paper making, you will delight in the lovely paper items at the shop. Perfect souvenirs.

I only booked the day before direct with the company. It was a very relaxed experience and we learned a lot. Fuji was very calm and helpful. Although he demonstrated or explained - in English- it was all very hands on. We made four postcards using the coloured washi paper. We really loved the whole experience and found it a great change to the bustling Tokyo outside the door.
