Timed entry was very good and organisation of the audio equipment was quick and well done. The guide was extremely knowledgeable.
The guide was a little repetitive in the information and held us in one spot for too long with too much detail. iPad images she shared were good.

Thank you for sharing your feedback. We’re glad you enjoyed the timed entry, the quick organisation of the audio equipment, and the guide’s knowledge and iPad images. We appreciate your comments about the pacing and level of detail, and will keep them in mind as we continue improving the experience.

Disappointing
Being new to Florence, the meeting point was hard to find. I asked for help from pedestrians and from guides that were outside the Duomo, but no one could tell me where to meet so I completely missed the experience.
事業者からの返答
The booking confirmation provides the exact address: Piazza del Duomo 15R, directly in front of the Lindt shop, where our representative was present with a sign. We strongly recommend arriving early and checking the meeting-point instructions before departure, as the Duomo area is extremely busy and asking unrelated guides or pedestrians may lead to confusion. Unfortunately, because you did not reach the designated meeting point at the scheduled time, the experience was missed.

Ok but were not made aware of clothing needed for the tour
Overall this was ok but the guides english was not great. The meeting point was fine but I was not told either by the info on the booking confirmation or by the people at the meeting point or by our guide that bare shoulders were not allowed in the Duomo which led to being refused entry without either getting scammed by traders of shawls or leaving the guided tour to go to the Duomo shop to buy a paper shoulder covering from a vending machine- I chose the latter while my husband waited for me ….. we eventually met up with our guided group inside but had obviously missed a lot of information….. we should have been made aware of this need before it became a problem hence why I’m mentioning it here …..

However, the required dress code—including covered shoulders and knees—is clearly stated in the product description and booking information. This is a mandatory rule established and enforced by the Cathedral, not by our company. We also appreciate your comments about the guide’s English and will review them with our team.

Poor experience
Unable to use the ticket due to long queue. Timed entry did not work due to amount of people waiting
Disappointing
事業者からの返答
We’re sorry that the long wait prevented you from entering. The timed entry is for the reserved admission time, but it does not bypass the mandatory security checks, which are controlled by the venue and can cause significant delays during busy periods. We understand your disappointment and regret that this affected your experience.

Good use of our time
We didn't lose a big part of the afternoon waiting around. The scheduled entry helped us plan the rest of our sightseeing, and the audio guide made the actual visit more informative.

Bad experience
Lined up for an hour outside before we eventually left without bothering to even enter
Guide was super boring trying to kill time as most on the tour were pretty frustrated
事業者からの返答
The queue outside the cathedral is caused by mandatory security checks and is managed entirely by the venue, so waiting times can unfortunately be longer during busy periods. Our guide tried to provide information while the group waited, but we regret that you did not find the commentary engaging. We are especially sorry that the long wait led you to leave before entering.

Best host
Laura, our host/Guide who was born in Florence, provided us with personal stories as well as accurate accounting of the Duomo. Loved her spirit.

Sold us a ticket while the monument was closed
The day we booked a 9:40 tour the monument was closed until 10:15. We didn’t have an extra 35 min to wait around unfortunately so we could not complete the tour. When I applied for a refund the hosts informed us this wasn’t a “skip the line” experience, which isn’t really relevant to advertising and selling tickets to a monument while it’s closed ☠️ don’t think you can rely on the company to pick a time when the monument is actually open I guess? Wildly unhelpful when we reached out and just kept repeating they were at the monument when advertised.

Worked for 12s
Thank you for your feedback. We’re sorry you were unable to complete your visit and that our replies did not adequately address your concern.
Our listing does not advertise skip-the-line access. However, we understand that your complaint concerns the monument being closed until 10:15 for a 9:40 booking, rather than waiting in an entry queue. Clarifying the entry type did not resolve that timing issue.
We understand that an additional 35-minute wait was incompatible with your plans, and we apologize for the inconvenience and frustration.

Worth booking
Informative guide that explains the architecture and history while your in the queue and in the cathedral. You can just queue to get in without this but you miss out on some of the history of the design

Our human (not audio) guide was fantastic
This experience is not with an audio guide but a human guide. Ours was excellent - she made the experience for us all sharing a wide variety of facts about the Duomo that kept everyone interested, even as we queued to enter. The whole visit took about 1 hour which was perfect. Note: Be aware that this ticket does not cover entry to the dome - some members of our group were disappointed by that misunderstanding.
