ヴェスヴィオ国立公園でのワインテイスティング

To whom it may concern, I attended this tour on 29-9-2026 and I was extremely disappointed and annoyed at the quality of this tour. Firstly, when I arrived at the venue, I was told they were not ready for me, so I had to wait 10 mins for the tour to begin which I did. The tour in general was of a very low standard, which basically was done in around 10 mins, with a very brief history of the family who owned the vineyard and the methods they use to protect and preserve their crop. I asked a number of questions which the guide seemed to be unable to answer about preserving and protecting the plants, if an insect lands on them. I also asked what type of insect and they did not know. There was no museum or wine cellar, to aid my learning of the vineyard and the various methods used to farm the land, as most of these places do. Secondly, I was given a 4 course meal with 4 different types of wine from the same grape. Afterwards, I was given an a4 spreadsheet and told which wines I tasted and what I would like to buy. I would liked to have been able to access a museum shop, as I would have liked to have seen the product and buy merchandise/souvenirs for family and friends When I wanted to leave the vineyard and return to Pompei, I was told by the staff that I would have to arrange my own transport back, which I refused to do so, as I did not know the taxi companies. Eventually after pressuring them, they ordered a taxi for me, but I had to wait an hour for him to arrive out to where the winery is and got back to Pompei. I learned nothing about winemaking, history, geography or anything like that. It was a total and utter waste of a day!

An excellent experience at Sorrentino Vineyards. Well deserved lunch with astonishing service. Will recommend to everyone reading this review.

We were picked up from our accommodation in Pompeii and taken by taxi to the vineyard (Sorrentino Vini) where the staff were waiting for us. We were seated, taken on a tour of the vineyard, then had a lovely three course lunch and wine tasting with a very knowledgeable sommelier. The staff came and told us when our transportation had arrived, and we were dropped back at our accommodation in the Max Travel bus which was very modern and clean. Fully recommend and, if I'd stayed there longer, I'd have booked another tour with them.

Magnificent experience, quality wines and great food. Highly recommended!! Not to mention the convenient shuttle that both outward and return accompanied us guided by the MYTHICAL Nello.
