Diogo was absolutely amazing as a tour guide (and human!) and our family had the most incredible tour day. We loved hearing all about Portugal’s history and we soaked in all the architectural and historical details of our two stops in Sintra: Regaleira and Pena Palace. We received timed tickets in both locations and were able to explore at our own pace, while enriched by the many historical and architectural details pointed out by our very knowledgeable and passionate guide, Diogo. We would highly recommend this tour experience to a magical area!

It is a wonderful tour, with a very interesting history about Syntra, which is magnificent, with its castles and greenery. We greatly appreciated the tour with José, who had the very difficult task of expressing himself in several languages during the excursion. José was our guide, and my goodness was he excellent. My husband and I love to go on a guided tour whenever we visit someplace new, and we felt so lucky to have a guide who is not only knowledgeable but most importantly passionate about the info. He was so fervent when presenting knowledge throughout Quinta da Regaleira. My husband and I were both glad we chose to go with a guide because otherwise, we would have been overwhelmed with how large this place is and how much it offers. Really a “choose your own adventure” type of situation. So thankfully José had mapped out a strategic route throughout the palace grounds that left us feeling satisfied and filled. If you ever have a choice in the matter, ask for José as your guide!

Very comprehensive experience of Sintra. Amazing energy, good pace; and a very in depth and entertaining lesson on the history of Portugal and how it all links together.
