My tour guide was very friendly and personable. He spoke English fluently and was helpful with my Spanish. He went at a pace that was very comfortable and unrushed. He was most knowledgeable about Frieda kahlo.
Adrianna and Emilio were fantastic guides- they truly love their beautiful neighborhood of Coyoacán and were able to tell me so much history of their city! The tour was very personal and they were able to answer any questions that I had. I highly recommend Adrianna and hope to use her again next time I am in Mexico City
While the tour guides were super nice and explained a lot, the group had a gang of eight in it that wanted to stop in multiple locations to take pictures of themselves, causing many stops with nothing to look at and it slowed us down significantly. So much so, that one family with small children had to leave the tour before the final stop at the actual Frida and Diego studios because too much time had gone by. It felt like the gang of eight controlled the timeline of the tour, leaving the rest of us doing a lot of waiting on them. Additionally, the studios at the end of the tour were the only site we were able to enter related to Frida and it was not at all worth the time and energy expended to get there, as it didn’t have the relics the Blue House had. We were told the Blue House takes too long in advance to get tickets, which is why we didn’t get to go in. This tour didn’t provide the Frida experience I was looking for, which was very disappointing, although walking around the city had some appeal. But I could’ve done that on my own.

This tour was such a highlight of our trip! As we walked through the charming Coyoacán neighborhood, we learned so much about Frida Kahlo’s life and the fascinating people connected to her. Adriana was incredible—smart, friendly, and full of personal stories from growing up in the area, which made everything feel so alive. Her knowledge spanned a remarkable range of subjects, and every question we asked was met with thoughtful, insightful, multi-perspective explanations that enriched our journey immeasurably. She has this great talent for bringing people together and creating a fun, warm atmosphere wherever she goes. When I mentioned I was interested in architecture, she even took the time to drive us around to different spots, adding an amazing personal and unexpected touch that made the tour feel even more special. Carlos, who was part of the team, was also incredibly intelligent—calm, insightful, and generous with his knowledge. We learned so much from him throughout the tour. The whole experience felt enriching, relaxed, and genuinely enjoyable. We left with deeper memories of Mexico City—and a big smile. Highly recommended.
As an Australian visiting Mexico for the first time I really enjoyed the tour as there was a lot of valuable knowledge I learned about the city and its extensive history. Adriana was the best guide I could ask for and I had an overall really rich experience with lots of variety and sights. I would recommend it to any English speaking travellers looking for an authentic tour of the beautiful country!
Would highly recommend this tour for anyone. Adrianna is incredibly knowledgeable in the history of Coyoacán and speaks perfect English. I loved the energy of this tour and the passion that Adrianna brings. No prior interest in history or Mexico is needed. Adrianna can accommodate for all levels of interest and knowledge. Coyoacán is so beautiful!
The "Walking among legends" tour not only meets expectations, but far exceeds them. I recommend this experience to anyone interested in discovering the rich history and charm of Coyoacán in an enriching and memorable way.
