黄色に塗られた 4 階建ての建物は、コモ湖に恋をしたイギリス人、風変わりなチャールズ カリー卿によって、19 世紀前半に新古典主義様式で建てられました。 1977 年にこの建物は有名なイタリア人デザイナーのジャンニ ヴェルサーチによって購入され、コモ湖の別荘となりました。

ヴィッラ プリニアナは、コモ湖の西側支流の右岸、コモ県トルノ市にある、より質素ではあるが既存の建物に 1574 年に建てられた別荘です。
メルツィ邸のファサードはシンプルかつ規則的で、2 段の階段で構成され、エジプト風の 4 頭のライオンが装飾されています。 外部テラスの側面には、アポロンとメレアグロスを表す 2 つの 16 世紀の大理石の彫像があります。 ヴィラの前には湖を見下ろす大きな噴水があります。

Be aware this is not a 4 hour trip. It is barely 3. Driver was 30 minutes late and had “another booking” after us so we were completely rushed the entire time. Not a relaxing day on the water as we had hoped. This is an expensive excursion so all we wanted was the time we paid for and be able to relax and enjoy the day. Driver did not give us even make up for the time he was late in picking us up. Very disappointed and had hoped this would have been one of the highlights on our vacation and it turned out to be the worst excursion we took the entire month we were in Europe. Wouldn’t have even given it one star. Money wasted!
Thank you for your review, but we would like to clarify what actually happened, as some important details are missing. As you can see, we offer three different pickup locations — Lenno, Laglio and Argegno — precisely to accommodate as many guests as possible. When the pickup locations of consecutive tours do not match, there can be a small delay of approximately 15–20 minutes, as clearly stated in our description and communicated to you in advance. Your previous tour ended in Argegno. Once those guests were dropped off, our boat immediately headed to Lenno, which was the pickup location you had selected. This resulted in approximately a 15-minute delay, which you had already been informed about. You then asked if we could drop you off in Bellagio. Bellagio is far outside our regular pickup and drop-off locations, so we explained that we could accommodate this request, but the tour would have to end approximately 20 minutes earlier, as our next guests were departing from one of our included pickup locations and the boat needed to return there. Most importantly, you booked and paid for 3 hours, not 4. Your tour lasted approximately 2 hours and 40 minutes. Had you booked and paid for 4 hours, the tour would have lasted approximately 3 hours and 40 minutes under the same circumstances. We also strongly disagree with the statement that you were “rushed the entire time.” You had almost three hours on the lake to relax and enjoy your experience, and there was no reason for our captain to rush you. Furthermore, we went out of our way to accommodate a drop-off request that we do not normally offer, and we also assisted you with information about where and how to purchase the ferry tickets for your return. We are always happy to help our guests and go beyond what is normally included when possible. We simply hope you can understand the work and logistics involved in operating boat tours on Lake Como, where different pickup and drop-off locations require additional navigation time. We are sorry that you were disappointed, but we genuinely do not understand the hostility of this review when we did our best to accommodate your requests and assist you throughout the experience. We believe criticism is fair when something genuinely goes wrong, but we also believe it should be fair, complete and based on what actually happened. Kind regards;)

Booked boat last minute. Met Andre at Argegno. Met Andre with boat. Boat was open with covering, so can enjoy the breeze and avoid sun if desired. Andre pointed out highlights of the Lake and pleasant person. We would recommend.

Ricardo was a great guide. Very knowledgeable about the points of interest. Very engaging. Born and raised on Lake Como so he has studied it a lot even though he is young. This was well worth the money to see other parts of this incredibly beautiful area. Boat was bart clean and well kept.

We had a wonderful experience with our guide, Simone. He was a wonderful guide. He took us, of course, to the beautiful areas, but also customized our boat ride to explore very fun areas for my family from ages 6 to 20. We booked a private 4 hour Lake Como boat tour with 8 adults. It was a wonderful relaxing experience for all of us. We booked 3 months in advance and selected because it was just our group. This operator had open seating but could be enclosed in case of cooler weather. It was a beautiful day and we all were very comfortable. We ended up traveling from Bellagio at the last minute for an additional fee which was well worth it to avoid transportation time and costs to stated pickup location across the lake. The communication with the operating company with very responsive. This was a great excursion for our group of seasoned travelers. We were provided water and one bottle of Prosecco to share. You can bring your own items. The boat was very clean and our captain Ray was very safe and helped us in getting on and off in moving water and lots of boat traffic.
