ボビーの後ろには、グレイフライアーズ教会墓地の入り口があります。この歴史的な墓地では、モートセーフとは何かを理解し、スコットランドの盟約とジョージ・マッケンジー霊廟とのつながりについて学びます。
墓地の次は、パブとその暗い過去で有名なグラスマーケットがあります。

ロイヤル マイルに戻ると、マカーズ コートがあります。ここでは、作家博物館を背景に、ロバート バーンズ、サー ウォルター スコット、ロバート ルイス スティーブンソンなど、スコットランドの最も重要な作家についてお話します。
マカールズ コートを出た後、ロイヤル マイルの上部に沿ってキャッスル エスプラネードに到着するまで数分間歩きます。城に入る前に、街の素晴らしい景色を楽しみ、エディンバラ ミリタリー タトゥーが行われる場所を見学します。

Very informative. Ricky was simply unique and impressive in the manner he related history and dotted it with humor! My eyes were glued to him as he expertly provided and captured Edinburgh’s greatness in the past and now.

We really enjoyed our full-day walking tour of Edinburgh with James. He shared interesting stories and background about the city that brought the places we visited to life. We covered quite a bit of ground throughout the day, giving us a great overview of Edinburgh. We were especially thankful that the tour included tickets to Edinburgh Castle, as tickets were sold out for the day by the time we arrived. A great way to explore the city and learn more about its history.
Our entire family was right. This as one of our best tours in our European visit. James was an excellent guide, was very animated and actually acted out some of the stories. He told. It made it all come alive. We were unfortunately cut short at the Edgar Castle because of utility breakdown. But James handled this smoothly and we were back on our way. Excellent
Ricky was our guide and absolutely fabulous! Extremely knowledgeable and passionate about Scotland, and a great entertainer! He did a great job at keeping the rain away and making sure to include everyone in the group in his stories. Well worth every penny (or pound)😎
This was a fantastic tour! We covered a lot of ground and stopped at both famous sites and lesser-known areas I wouldn't have thought to visit on a self-guided tour. Our tour guide James was also extremely informative and a great storyteller who had a lot of interesting facts to share. Highly recommend for solo and group travelers alike who have a limited time in Edinburgh and want to make the most of their stay!
I had a lot of fun on this tour, and with this group. Our tour guide, James, was great; he was knowledgeable, funny, and a sci-fi fan, so that was a bonus for me! The tour ended on a high with Edinburgh Castle; it was quite something to behold. If you're in Edinburgh, I would highly recommend this tour!
The 5 hour tour was fairly fast paced and informative. We did about 5 miles of walking. The guide, Mark, was sensitive to the needs of the travelers, gave clear instructions, and let us know what to expect. He was fun! History (of course) plus art and interesting stories about the people and places in Edinburgh.
Had a great tour today with Mark was excellent. Mark’s history knowledge was so interesting and we learned so much we never would have. If you do this tour ask for Mark!
The guide we had was fantastic, he wove us around the city and gave us so much history. We had a problem meeting up with him because we came on a cruise ship and got off late, he was in constant contact and told us he would meet up with no problem! No stress!
