Martin was very knowledgeable about the history of Hiroshima, leading up to and after that fateful day on August 6th. We visited several monuments where Martin provided an in-depth understanding of the purpose, design, and function of each structure. Deeply moving and inspiring. I am still heart-torn about whether the bomb was a blessing or a curse. It stopped the war but destroyed so many innocent lives. War does that, no matter what.
